First of all sorry if my English is a bit broken
A few days ago i tried to replace the hdd in my snow ibook g3 with a cf card. After i mounted the cf card i tried to reinstall mac os but when i got into the bootmenu it didn’t see my mac os cd (i know the cd is good because i used it a week prior) and i decided to reseat all the connections. After reseating it still didnt work ( the cd doesnt even spin in the drive) so i went online and bought another ibook g3 for parts that only had the gpu broken. When i got the laptop i took the entire assembly (hdd, cd drive and ribbon cable) and i put it in my working ibook g3 but it still refused to even power on the cd drive.
Now im stuck and i dont know what to do to get my cd drive working
