My mum is bed-bound, and without Pazu, Sheeta would be lonely sitting in my room. So, for today at least, we're all sitting in mum's room.

Sheeta doesn't like to be handled, and will fly away or move to the other side of the cage if I stick my hand in - its gonna be a lot of time and patience before she's calm enough for scritches, but I'm ready and willing to try.

Bonus: She's enjoying the view from a new window XD

So, after Pazu here needed an injection a few months ago, I've been hyper aware of pretty much everything he does, compared to his sister Sheeta. Some oddities include sitting on the cage floor and sleeping a bit too much.

I've also noticed lately that he seems to get poop stuck on his feathers (possibly from the cage floor), and the area around his butt (cloaca?) seems to be bare of any feathers at all, though idk if this is normal.

Truth be told, I simply don't know enough about looking after a budgie like this to be confident that he's well or not. He has started doing the finger-steppy thing for me and seems to be ok with me handling him (as long as I'm gentle), but he only makes a sound when he's complaining about something, so at least he lets you know if you're doing something he doesn't like.

I was pointed out to me the other day that where he sits is the only spot in his own cage that he can't see Sheeta, so it might be necessary to get a piece of cardboard for his benefit, as she did bully him when he was sick. Now though, she tries to be close to him when they're out for a wander, even when he doesn't want to cuddle up.

On the whole, idk if I should be worried? And I can't exactly afford a vet, as the first visits were tricky in their own way for personal reasons. TIA.

P.S. Sheeta still won't have a bar of me, but she's healthy and happy, and sings in the mornings.

I snapped this today when he was having a wander. Sheeta still bullies him, but they're in different cages now. I need to work on handling them, especially Sheeta who won't stick around if my hand is within 18".

Two weeks ago I rushed Pazu to the vet after asking about his odd behaviour here, and turned out he had a respitory infection and needed antibiotics (via needle??)

Well, last Thursday, he was given a clean bill (beak?) of health, and I've been monitoring him since, but he seems all good, apart from some floor-sitting over the weekend.

Sheeta is still a bit of a bully, but that won't change any time soon. Turns out Pazu's flight problem is congenital, so nothing to be done there.

I've spent a LOT of cash on these two, buying a second (larger) cage for when they need to be separated, new pellets and vegetables for their diets, toys for both cages (that actually fit this time) and of course the vet fees. Still, I'm glad everything turned out well.

P.S. Pazu is currently bullying Sheeta??? Oh dear XD

I've retooled this CC deck to remove the nimbalism/nimble strike package, and geared it to a super straight forward approach of "smack face, then smack face again".

I've leaned towards light cards for "V of the Vanguard" fodder, and away from blues because of the costs and "Duty Bound Blitz"/"Light the Way".

I've also picked some random one-ofs for certain matchups (2nd pic, across the bottom) and 2x options for each equipment slot. All in all, it's gonna be flexible in these areas.

I know the Axes aren't the usual choice, but I've found they work so well with Boltyn's abilities I kept using them rather than hunting down "Raydn, Duskbane".

I don't have as much experience with the game as I'd like, so any feedback is appreciated!

You can't see them super clearly, but in the light of my lamp you can see they do stick out and cast a tiny shadow when she moves her head.

She seems to have had more blue spots appear since I got them before christmas, which is definitely a thing I didn't know birds could do.

I love these two, so I'm going to do my absolute best for them - I've had birds in the past (even a cockatoo as a kid), but I'm pretty certain I wasn't the best owner I could've been. So, I'm gonna be asking for advice on here, sorry in advance if I'm annoying :)

I have two birds, a male named Pazu and a female named Sheeta, I think they're siblings due to their similar markings and birthdates.

Sheeta is a massive bully, often tormenting Pazu, and I sometimes even see her peck or pull his leg - it's not constant, but it's persistent.

Pazu is also really bad at flying, I think he has a very minor birth defect in the "elbow" of one wing, but I can't be certain as I only found it by touch and only had Sheeta's wings for comparison. But it does mean he often crash-lands when out and about, and can't gain altitude very easily.

Finally, he's been sitting on the bottom of the cage like this more often, rather than on the swing that he used to like. Even during the day, I'll sometimes find him curled up with his head under his wing, trying to sleep.

Can someone give any advice or information about what could be causing his problems? My mother suggested putting them in separatr cages, which is becoming more likely...

Update: I've booked a vet appointment for tomorrow morning, at a clinic which isn't exactly close, but they're the only place with a bird specialist available. I hope my transport service is ok with the cage.

Update 2: Looks like he has a respiyory infection - Thr vet gave him an injection, and he might need up to six injections in the coming weeks, but he's home and settled now.

I also asked about his wing, and it's a congentital issue, so his flying won't improve. That's ok though, he's my special boy.

P.S. I'm getting a second cage tomorrow, but I had to bring Sheeta today, and DAMN she can bite XD

I stepped on a clam and was teleported somewhere I don't recognize called "the palladium reef", trying to get back away from a "sultan croc" landed me beneath a lake then this happened...

Do the clams send you to another clam? So much for yesterday's Daily lol.

I didn't know this was even possible.

After I pulled up my garden recently, I found these tomato seedlings sprouting from the tomatoes I couldn't preserve - what do I do with these?

They're too clumped up, and it won't be spring here until september, so I can't decide what to do with them. I can't just leave them, as the garden needs another layer of soil soon.

Those plants were a surprise, but I only got one bowl of tomatoes before things went sideways. I pulled them up after neglecting the garden for too long, and preserved these from the few good ones I could collect.

I'll start planting these again in september, weather permitting, but the garden bed needs some TLC first.
