Why did nobody tell me these guys rock so hard?

I'm going to be honest. I'm 33 and I never cared about Anthrax. Not in a hater way, of course, its a band that I just never listened to, even if I always was a Thrash Metal fan. I was aware of their existence, but for some reason I never started listening to them.

Yesterday, I went to Bordeaux to see Mastodon, which were opening for Anthrax, so I obviously stuck around to see their performance too, since I was already there.

Oh my god. It's the first time I walk out of a metal legend's show without feeling "I wish I could've seen them 25 years ago". It's like these guys don't know the concept of a "golden era", they just didn't get the memo that humans get old and energy levels go down. I felt like I was watching a performance from the 80s on YouTube, what a show, what an energy! I had to check in Wikipedia how old are these guys, and most of them are over 60! Come on! the bass player even looked younger than me! this show was a throwback to when I was 16 years old and I watched young thrash metal bands like Crisix or Angelus Apatrida, the energy was the same. I even touched my head to see if I grew my hair back (sadly no, still bald).

Anyway, I'd like if you guys could hit me with their absolute bangers, I feel like I have a lot of thrash f***ing metal to catch up with.

Mastery #4: Pokémon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire

This was probably the most fun I’ve ever had on this site. The game is super fun and the set feels rewarding. There's a couple of achievements that I thought I was never getting, like scoring 4 billion, catching 40 Pokémon in a single game or the Keckleon/Spheal bonus stages.

The game where I finally completed the Pokédex is still going, with 8 billion points and almost 200 catches.

Unsure about how this childhood story would land, advice needed.

I (straight man, 33) will be attending to a good friend (woman, 34) of mine's wedding, and there's a funny childhood story I'd like to reference, but I'm not sure how would it land.

We've been friends since we were little kids, since our parents were friends before we were born. When we were kids, we had a common boy friend. One day, when we were still kids, someone asked me who I would like to marry with when I grew older. I didn't really knew what marriage was, my only reference were my parents, who spent the whole day together and seemed to enjoy one another's company, so under that criteria, I responded "I'd like to marry [my boy friend]". My female friend then had a hilarious overreaction and said: "no! you can not marry him, who's gonna wear the bouquet?!". That story has survived until today, because adults found it so funny we always tell it when we meet.

Anyway, that female friend is now getting married to a woman, and I'd like to make some kind of reference to that childhood story (to her, I'm not speaking on any microphone). Something along the lines of "so, how did you decide who gets to wear the boquet?" or "did you finally figure out who should wear the bouquet?", but I really don't want to sound like an asshole, so I'm checking with you guys if you would consider something like that offensive.
