This one really got me..I give up.
Im feeling not so good about the nclex preview questions. It’s nothing like u world.

Im feeling not so good about the nclex preview questions. It’s nothing like u world.
I’ve been doing all these exam preview questions and I just feel so defeated. I’m getting most of them wrong because it’s coming down to 2 answers and even when I’m forsure 100% it’s got to be the only correct logical answer chat gpt tells me it’s wrong. For the stupidest reasons. For example here’s another one I chose #3 but it’s #2 just for little things like that..is this how the real nclex is? I want to be tested to make sure I’m a safe nurse not if I accidentally called the provider to verify dosage and didn’t check my med reference sheet first?? Like cmon. That’s pretty much penalizing me for trying to be a safe nurse. I was doing well in u world but these ones are really humbling me. Ugh
My biggest worry is the fact that the NCLEX questions are so vague. U world is more specific and has more fluff for you to narrow it down easier….i need to find q banks that are more vague just like how NCLEX is so that I can practice!!! I test in a week and Im freaking out. I’ve been looking high and low for example vague questions and cannot find them anywhere. I already know the type of test taker I am and I 100% KNOW that the vagueness is going to get me to second guess myself and stump me so I’m trying to get ahead of it and really get used to answering vague questions.
Looking for some honest feedback from other soccer parents.
My son and his friend were two of the strongest players on their team this past season. They are October 2016 age group so they played U9 and then u10 and will remain U10 because of the new age change requirement.
Well, We were talked into trying out for a different club because of the lower cost, and one of the biggest reasons we considered it was because the boys wanted to keep playing together. So we decided to skip the first day of tryouts for main club. (Dumb decision I know).
Unfortunately, my son’s friend didn’t make that team, and after seeing more of the club, I realized it probably wasn’t the right fit for us anyway. Because of that, my son ended up attending only the second day of tryouts for his current club. The coach didn’t want him or offer him a spot on either her DA1 or DA2 team. I was pretty surprised when he wasn’t offered a spot on either the U10 DA1 or DA2 team. Esp when all his prior teammates made it. Instead, he was offered a spot on the White team.
Several parents from his previous team were just as surprised and confused as I was and encouraged me to speak with the coach to find out what happened. Like I had mentioned, my son was one of the top players on the team and no I am not just saying that. Other parents knew that and encouraged me to speak up.
When I asked, the coach told me that most of her roster decisions were made on the first day of tryouts and that my son missing Day 1 played a role in the decision. Which I totally understood.
Since my son had previously played white the past two years and because he’s a top player and because all his teammates made the DA team, I 100% knew the White team wouldn’t make any sense.
I spoke with the club owner, and after hearing the situation, he suggested that my son play up an age group instead.
As a result, my son was offered a spot as the 12th player on the U11 DA2 team. He’ll also have opportunities to sub for the younger 2017 White team to get additional touches and playing time.
There are two boys from his previous team on the U11 team, so he’s excited about that.
My only concern is that he’s used to being one of the top players on his team and scoring a lot of goals. Playing up is going to challenge him in ways he hasn’t experienced before.
If you were in my shoes, would you have chosen the U11 DA2 opportunity, or would you have kept him with his age group on the White team?
I’m excited for him, but I also want to make sure I’m making the best decision for his long-term development and confidence.
