so i applied to ubco for a ba, got accepted as a domestic student. i did o and a levels through cambridge so my predicted grades were bbb for a levels and my offer condition was a “maximum drop of 2 letter grades across academic subjects.”

both my business papers (p1 and p2) got leaked. this is a pretty well documented and ongoing situation with cambridge where multiple papers were compromised and some were outright cancelled. cambridge still hasn’t acknowledged it or given any update to affected students, which is frustrating on its own.

the problem is that when papers get leaked, cambridge raises the grade thresholds significantly (thresholds are basically the mark cutoffs that determine what grade you get, so something like 42 marks = A). because so many people will have had access to the paper beforehand, the curve gets brutal and students who didn’t cheat end up getting punished anyway. so there’s a real chance my grades drop below the condition on my offer through no fault of my own.

my question is whether it makes sense to email ubco now and get ahead of it, or if reaching out could actually hurt my offer. and if emailing is the right move, what should i even say?
has anyone dealt with something like this before

Honestly Allah ka shukar uk hamara kaam chal rah hai but genuinely imagine how difficult it is for the lower class and middle class with their petrol expenses doubling, especially middle class because they have to commute for work/college, genuinely crazy.

Imagine realizing your entire year is ruined and months of efforts wasted and the post that caused LITERAL destruction (especially if u got desi parents cuz good luck getting them to understand "keals") has keal written on it. FUCKING "KEAL" THE MOST STUPID ASS WORD IVE EVER SEEN

I swear man this session gotta be cursed , will go down in history as the worst time to be a A level student🙏🙏. Not only is every paper getting leaked( 6 PAPERS.) but the Schedule (at least for Zone 4) is so fucked up, Every single person ik either has back to back exams or 2 in one day🙏. They fr optimized this session for maximum penetration, At this point just nuke this entire session gng it aint worth all this✌️✌️
