Is this a standard way to fix this?

My body shop guy said he would make the tailgate look “so good you won’t be able to tell” but I went to the shop to see the truck and it looks so weird, I told him to find a replacement if it needs too much work but he told me I wasn’t trusting the process and that he’s not done

Would yall touch this

In the process of touching it.. working for my dad and he fixes everything no matter what it is, not just a burnt relay the wires are also taped up and switch colors like every 3 inches lol

Tried to warn him…

Tried to warn my dad not to get cheap work, in response my dad would hit me with “if he really does what he says he’s gonna do then it’s a great deal”, guess he learns the hard way now, the bumper and rear finish panel are now permanently filled onto the car lol

My first car(s)

See a lot of people super surprised that people are buying cars in America at such a young age, so thought I might as well showcase all the cars I’ve gotten so far.

Car 1
1985 Cadillac fleetwood at 12, no I did not drive, it was for “when I got my license” but my dad ended up liking it so much he kept it for himself, might have been a loophole to avoid the wife getting upset
(9k)

Car 2
1999 Miata at 15
(4400)

Car 3
1993 Miata at 16, pile of garbage, but taught me how to wrench on cars, didn’t know what I was looking at and overpaid a lot
(3500)

Car 4
1990 Miata at 16, rolling shell but runs now thanks to me ripping apart the 1993 for parts
(800)

Car 5
1989 fc rx7 at 17, currently rebuilding the rotary engine, (1200)

Car 6
2005 mustang v6 at 17, no title. No abs, no tcs, valve cover leaks so it smokes sometimes, my beloved drift car, 180k miles
(650)

Currently 17, I probably could have bought one really nice running car if I had just saved my money but too late

Little me getting 1st place

When I was younger I would just look up “hardest songs” on TikTok and then learning them with synthesia on YouTube. Somehow got me 1st place in the state. Currently getting into learning sheet music! After every performance I would immediately forget the song and then YouTube another one, bad form but I’m gonna be doing it the right way now!

Opinions on succumbing to synthesia “tutorials”?

Currently learning a piece through sheet music after being a chronic YouTube learner for 4 years, it got me 1st in a competition and allowed me to place top 3 in all the other comps, as I’ve gotten older I’ve done research and realize I should get to learning sheet music, but it’s taking very very long to learn even a few measures of a song, I can’t sit still at the piano.. I’m thinking of learning a song with sheet music and then picking up a second song with YouTube as a reward, anybody do this?

Should I pull the trigger on this 3 series wagon?

It seems to be in perfect condition and only 25,000 miles, they’re asking 20,900$ which seems fair for the salvage title, is this a good decision? Where I live you can insure a salvage title but I don’t know if that makes it worth it
