Was it me or was the mix total dogshit ? I've never been to The Palladium before but have been at that venue before over the years under different names. Blackie's vocals were so buried that my wife who knows exactly nothing about music outside of what she may have picked up over the course of our 40 years together asked why she couldn't hear him.

Was there a high pass filter being used with the person using it clueless ? I thought that KK's Priest sounded like shit but just figured that whomever was at the board knew not how to mix. But WASP's sound was thin as paper as well. I've always loved Doug's tone live. Last night though... Ugh !

After 35 minutes Blackie said "good night". I must have said "WHAT THE FUCK ?" loud enough to startle my wife bad enough for her to jump in her seat.

Seeing "Thunderhead" and "Crown of Thorns" was amazing though. In a perfect world the mix for "Easy Living" would have been nice. Loving WASP since Day 1 and seeing them well over 20 times I will say enough with "The Real Me". I love how they play it so don't get me wrong. But if stage time is precious I'd prefer another song.

My son went to a record store the other day and accidentally and unknowingly dropped one of his Airpods. They found it so we went to get it before going to his hockey league. I forgot just how cool it is to find Rush stuff. lol. Back in the day of going to all of the Greenwich Village record store and finding stuff.

I looked at Explorers, Jaguars and Thunderbirds and none look right. I'm a bass player for 45 years and even though I buy basses that suit my playing (like my Dean and BC Rich Warlock), the fan boy in me, I have a type of bass that he used / uses. Fender P, Steinberger (Cort), 4003 Ric, Fender Jazz. I can get my Dean to sound like a Wal and it looks a lot like a Wal.

I'd like to get a bass like the one Ged is using in the photo.

Now this is an intelligent solution.

I was going to bring a small
piece of wood (1" x 1/4" x 8") from Le Studio for them to sign. At least I don't have to worry about taking out of their safe enclosures at home and losing them in travel. Those a religious relics to me.
