I wanted to upgrade to to NobleROM but, NobleROM 5.x is too heavy, though it runs on android 15 but still, it's so heavy. I heard 2.C is good, but is android 12 still usable?

how do i recover data
My phone (Redmi Note 9 pro) drowned in salt water, it started overheating with a black screen. I let it dry for 10 days, i tried plugging it on the charger, nothing shows up but a blinking LED on top, and it overheats again. Suprisingly, after a few attempts, i managed to tunr the phone on, even though the screen was black, when i press the buttons (volume, fingerprint sensor, power) it vibrates, and i'm guesing this proves it's working and running the OS but the screen is broken.
I want to restore the data from my phone. USB Debugging is not on, and it's running on MIUI 14, Android 12.
Any suggestions?
