I picked up issues #1-2 and #4 today (#3 was sold out at two different shops). I quite enjoyed the three issues I read and added the series to my pull list. I think I might try to track down the previous series by Jamal Campbell as well.
So I’m pretty proud of my collection but I’d like to see DC do a hardcover collection of Arcudi’s Doom Patrol series (22 issues) and I would love to see some new Doom Patrol figures. I think there is a Monsieur Mallah/The Brain set I don’t have. I’d like to see updated versions of the original members, plus figures for The Chief, Flex Mentallo, Gargaux, A-V-M Man, Madame Rouge, Red Jack, and some of the Kupperberg characters (Tempest, Celsius, etc.)

Evil Dead Burn is predicted to make $13.7 million domestically this weekend. By comparison Evil Dead Rise made $24 million in 2023 on its opening weekend and Evil Dead (2013) made just over $25 million in its opening weekend (not adjusted for inflation).
Who’s your favourite of Mia, Beth and Alice? And would you like to see them together fighting deadites?
The friendship of Langdon and Donnie is so great. Especially in episode five. I hope we get to see them interact more in season three.
I like Judy as a character but she seems to be getting ignored lately. I hope she gets to have some adventures with Bart, Wallace and Wally’s kids.
Isabela Merced or Ciara Renee? Who’s the better Hawkgirl? Who had the better costume?
They seem like an odd pairing as they never really had much interaction in the comics, but would you like to see Milly Alcock’s Supergirl (eventually) team-up with whoever plays The Flash in Gunn’s DCU?
Every Evil Dead hero has wielded a chainsaw at some point, though Alice seems to be changing things up a bit in Evil Dead Burn. Is a chainsaw necessary for an Evil Dead hero/movie or should the new movies (Burn and Evil Dead Wrath) try to be a bit more original with their weapons?
I think there are some neat ideas here but overall very poor execution. There’s a lot of Grant Morrison stuff I like but some of their comic book runs can be disappointing (Action Comics and Wonder Woman: Earth One come to mind). I really dig their JLA, All-Star Superman, and Batman: Gothic though. The Green Lantern was a chaotic mess and felt very underwhelming.
What did everyone else think?
I think the original Evil Dead Rise poster is still the creepiest.
