Magnesium glycinate responsible for loose stools

Started taking magnesium glycinate for stress. 400mg on the first day and the next day I had an upset stomach, cramps and passed a way softer stool than usual. I'm mostly constipated ( I do have regular BMs) but I do NOT want softer bowel movements at all.

I cannot switch or replace my supplement.

How do I prevent this? Has anyone dealt with this and found a fix? Please share your experience

Scared of boards 2027 (12th std)

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in Class 12 (CBSE) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physical Education.

To be honest, I'm pretty scared about the board exams. I managed Class 11, but I still feel like my fundamentals aren't as strong as they should be, especially in Physics and Maths. The pressure around boards is making me anxious, and I don't want to waste time following the wrong strategy or resources.

I would really appreciate advice from seniors who scored well or recently gave the boards:

  1. What mistakes should I avoid throughout Class 12?

  2. Which subjects ended up being easier or harder than expected?

  3. How much importance should I give to physics NCERT as i heard that question can come if even a line is mentioned.

  4. What was your revision strategy during the last 3–4 months?

  5. How did you balance school exams, practicals, and boards? (Attendance pressure asw)

  6. What resources helped you the most for:

Physics

Chemistry

Mathematics

Computer Science

Physical Education

  1. Which online teachers/channels can actually be trusted for both concepts and board-level question practice?

  2. Are there any teachers/channels I should avoid because they focus too much on shortcuts or don't match the CBSE pattern?

  3. How many sample papers and PYQs did you solve before the exam?

  4. If you could go back to the beginning of Class 12, what would you do differently?

Any insights, study plans, teacher recommendations, or personal experiences would be really helpful.

Also,

Another thing that's making me anxious is the ongoing discussion about On-Screen Marking (OSM) and changes in evaluation. I've seen a lot of mixed opinions online, and I'm worried about whether answer presentation, step marking, and checking standards might become stricter or different from what previous batches experienced.

For those who have experience with CBSE evaluation or have looked into OSM, should Class 12 students be changing anything about how they write answers, present derivations, show steps in numericals, or attempt theory questions? Is there anything specific we should keep in mind?

Thank you

Period day 1 almost killed me, lmk what helps you survive it?

So today was genuinely one of the worst days I've had. My period started and i had severe cramps, diarrhea (3 times), vomiting(from the raw banana), dizziness and complete fatigue. I was literally on the floor.

Here's what I think happened and what I learned in case anyone relates

Had heavy fast food pasta the night before but didn't think much of it

I always have the worst pain of my life (I'm 18)

I have anemia pretty bad so the previous month I got prescribed iron supplement and this month my period was due on 29th (it usually is just 2-3 days late or early) but this time it was 7-8 days late (got it today, 7th June 2026)

I had just started taking magnesium glycinate from 2 days 200mg which can slightly soften stools even on the gentle form

On day 1 after taking it I had cramps like when u need to poop after i returned from school I had a soft stool which is lowk crazy cus I'm constipated mostly 😭

I cannot use a hot water bag since it gets messy for me and my parents just won't allow pain killers since they're worried about the side effects (I've always been a weak ahh)

Oh and also along with cramps on lower abdomen I get SEVERE bootihol cramps which just throws me on the floor waiting for death.

I'm scared about entering college with this situation and my mom not being with me there ☹️

Please LET ME KNOW ANYTHING OR EVEN THE MOST BIZZARE REMEDY (that works ofcourse) TO SURVIVE

Feel free to ask any questions!

I have low iron

I LOSS WEIGHT FAST and struggle sm to gain

I'm 168cm at 46kgs

And I think I'm continuing to lose

Here's my routine

I have pretty stressful subjects and A VERY RUTHLESS SCHOOL (will rant about it later)

So i need to maintain attendance

I have a banana peanut and seeds shake in the morning before school at 7:40am

Then at lunch break at 12:40pm I don't eat since I have to study for the tests after school ends (my school doesn't let u go home if u don't finish or get it wrong ) at 3:40pm I reach home and have lunch by 4:30pm (home cooked meals made by my mother includes seasonal veggies, fish and meat)

Then i have a snack at around 8pm while studying

At 11pm i have dinner and head to sleep by 2am then wake up at 7:20am

I'm struggling to keep up with all this and then there's my period (the final boss)
