Brake advice

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for feedback/reviews on an EBC brake setup for my 2011 Corvette Grand Sport.

My intended setup is:

Front: EBC Stage 27 Kit (EBC SG2F Rotor-piece floating slotted rotors and EBC Bluestuff NDX pads)
Rear: EBC Stage 6 Kit (EBC GD slotted and dimpled one-piece rotors together with EBC Bluestuff NDX pads)
The car is used for street driving, autocross, and occasional track days. I’m not building a full-time track car, but I do drive it hard at events, so I’m mainly looking for feedback on this setup or if someone else have done it and have a feedback?

So far any option we saw either didn't get back to us or full and not taking new clients looking for everyone's recommendations

Brake fluid for mixed street/autox/track use — stick with DOT 3 or go high-performance?

Hey everyone,

I’m getting ready to do a brake fluid flush on my Corvette Grand Sport and wanted to get the community's take on fluid choice before I buy.

The car pulls double duty it's used for daily and cruises during the season, but I also run it hard. I usually clear between 8 to 15 events per season, which is a mix of local Autocross and proper track days.

I actually managed to score an awesome local labor deal for the flush.

I’m debating between sticking to a Standard DOT 3 or upgrading to a dedicated high-performance fluid like ATE Typ 200, Motul RBF 600, or Castrol SRF.

On one hand, it still sees regular street miles, and DOT 3 is easy. I definitely don't want to experience a soft pedal or brake fade halfway through a hot lap or a tight autocross run.

  • For those running dual-purpose C6s or tracking your dailies, what has been your go-to fluid?
  • Is jumping to something like Motul or Castrol SRF an absolute necessity for 8-15 events, or can a high-quality DOT 3 cut it if it's flushed regularly?
  • If you are running high-performance fluid, which brand hits the sweet spot for handling the heat without requiring an annoying amount of maintenance for a street-driven car?

Curious to hear your experiences and what you’re running on your setups. Thanks

Best burger and shake spot in Winnipeg?

Hey

I’m on a mission to find the best burger and shake spot in the city.

I’m talking juicy burger, good toppings, proper fries on the side, and a milkshake that actually feels worth ordering.

What’s your go-to place in Winnipeg for a solid burger + shake combo? Bonus points if it’s underrated, or one of those “don’t judge the outside, the food is amazing” kind of spots.
