I've never understood why more black people don't own afro hair shops. The most successful afro/black hair shops tend to have asian owners and 9/10 they aren't usually helpful at all. Why is that?

Before deconstructing I ALMOST became an Orthodox Christian. Has anyone ever figured out the difference between the idols and icons? Cause I raised this question and was almost thrown out of the group chat🫠 How dare thee compare both lol. I feel as if icons and idols is just tomato, tomatoe, no?
Today was such a weird day. I just couldn't stop thinking about my ex. My intution kept telling me I should call him almost like something was wrong. So I decided to call him. We small talked and I wanted to leave it at that. But It didn't take him two seconds before he started picking on things he believes I should be insecure about. He just can't help it but see himself as this GREAT person while I'm just someone who he needs to "fix" to reach his level.
I think a few months back I would have internalised this, but this time around I couldn't help but laugh.
Anyways, yeah I broke no contact and I felt a bit ashamed by it at first, but now I just ughhhh f*ck I'm just a human too from time to time. But cheers to progress?

I think 17th May is one of the few things I miss about Norway. Last year I skipped celebrating and it felt so odd to skip something I’ve celebrated all my life. I’m wondering if there are any Norwegian‘s here who would be celebrating 17th May this year and would like to meet up at that 17th May event this year?
Or if there are smaller gatherings happening, would be fun to link up.
