What do you do when that happens to you?

I wanna get back into self studying math but when I pick up where I left off, I am stuck on this problem and end up just staring at the page alot of the time. The textbook specifically says the problem is very difficult but I cant help but get discouraged when I find that its taking a long time. Makes me feel like this problem is impossible to solve or that I will never be able to do it. This makes me very upset because I love math and I want to do it but it feels unaccessible to me which is frustrating.

English:

In the sublime intersection where celestial melody meets revolutionary word, we encounter a resurrection of the human spirit. The angelic voice of Majida El Roumi acts as a divine vessel for the fiery verses of the Tunisian poet Abu al-Qasim al-Shabbi. This synthesis is not an artistic performance but an existential manifesto that challenges the foundations of submission. Majida’s voice, ethereal and angelic, purifies the listener’s soul, elevating the poetic text from ink on paper to a cosmic anthem of liberation.

The poetic journey begins with a declaration of human dignity. Addressing the individual as the Scion of Existence, Shabbi asserts that our origin is rooted in divine craftsmanship designed for freedom. We are cast into this cosmos not as subjects of tyranny but as autonomous beings intended to flourish. From a philosophical and legal perspective, this establishes liberty as a natural right, inherent and inalienable. The text soon shifts into a piercing critique of voluntary servitude. The poet questions the incomprehensible choice to accept the ignominy of chains. It is a psychological examination of why the oppressed might prostrate before their oppressors, sacrificing their inherent nobility. This submissiveness is portrayed as a betrayal of the divine fashioning mentioned earlier. The transition from the expanse of the universe to the suffocating confines of hollow caves symbolizes the intellectual and spiritual decay that accompanies the loss of will.

Shabbi challenges us to find our anthem and our majestic defiance. He perceives the fear of light as the ultimate tragedy of the human condition. Why should one tremble at the heavens’ sublime hymn or dread the radiance of the infinite sky? The light of the dawn is sweet and pure, yet those accustomed to the darkness of the cave find it threatening. Through the angelic resonance of Majida’s voice, these questions become a haunting call to awaken. We are reminded that to be alive is to reject the shadows, to embrace the light of truth, and to reclaim the sovereignty of the soul. This literary masterpiece remains a timeless testament to the indomitable nature of human dignity less.

Drug legalization?

What do you think about drug legalization? It's the idea that drugs should be legal. Advocates of it say that just like alcohol during the prohibition, drugs currently help finance organised crime and without it criminal activity would significantly drop.

Additionally, there are historical instances where an easier policy on drugs and legalizing them under medical observation leads actually to less drug addicts. Like having medical centers specifically for those purposes. I mean if you're gonna do drugs, do it safely.

The goal of this isn't about maximizing human freedom, obviously no one is free to be an addict to anything by definition and no one wants a world full of drug addicts. The real goal is to effectively tackle this issue through a more realistic and informed strategy.

You can probably tell by my speech that I am sided with the legalization crowd but curious to know what you think because when this is brought up to the average person their brain just shuts off and labels it haram without much thought or reflection.

BTW the song is called Peruvian cocaine by immortal technique (about the only rapper I listen to). I cant confirm or deny that making this post was partly to share his amazing music👀

I agree with marx but I think that dialectical materialsim is a pseudoscience

As the title says. I agree with almost everything Marxists say politically but I cannot see any truth or utility in dialectical materialism. It feels like over-philosophized Hegelian jargon that makes Marxism harder to explain to ordinary people.

My main problem: "qualitative vs. quantitative change." Anything including sudden jumps, phase transitions, revolutions can be described with numbers, formulas, and math (step functions, Dirac delta, bifurcation theory). So I genuinely don't understand what "qualitative" adds. Call me a mechanist if you want.

Also, dialectics has no predictive power. It's at best ad hoc explanation after the fact. I could invent my own profound-sounding rules right now and "explain" reality with them.

Honestly, I doubt even Marxists actually use dialectical materialism in their real analysis. They use political economy, history, and basic reasoning not "negation of the negation." Tell me as marxists what do you think?
