Picked up Star Fox today on Switch 2, genius idea otw home. Hotas/Brook xe2

Didn’t even have to configure anything. It’s not the perfect button layout, but you can definitely make it work, but I’ve just plug n play with that Mayflash adapter. I adjusted the sensitivity settings and will tweak minor adjustments. This is the way I am going to play Star Fox. Hell this is the only way to do it! Give it a try if you have the chance! Gonna try my Meta 3s with a hdmi pass through to my switch 2. So VR Star Fox with Hotas. That’s what I’m doing right now!

Clearing out some space

Clearing out some space because my collection has gotten out of control. 80% of what you see pictured is for sale and I’ll beat almost any price. (Taken to account most of these have been modded and upgraded, so they will cost slightly more not the full cost of the modifications) hope to hear from you

Doio Flexcable replacement

The first pic is the damaged part that I’m trying to replace. I’ve used AI and scoured Amazon looking for a replacement. I found a few that were very close, but nothing is an exact match. They seem to be either too wide or too skinny. If anybody can help me, that would be great because I’ve emailed DOIO at least 10 times and have heard nothing. Major bummer considering how much money I have spent with them and they cannot even help with a replacement cable. Or a link to a replacement cable that would take them 30 seconds. I love this joystick and that’s the only reason that I’m going to keep it. The customer service is terrible. It’s mind blowing, but I swear that they are ignoring me. I looked at my credit card statement and I spent over $700 with them this year alone. Every time I’ve reached out it says if they are doing me a favor to answer an email. Am I the only one that has had a bad experience? I just want to fix this joystick and keep it moving, but I can’t get a response so I figured I would try here. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you so much.

Projects that got all tightened up this week. 🫡

Some of these builds you may have seen in earlier post but this week I added a little extra work to each of these builds to make them a little special. Got 2 more in the works for this weekend, might take off Father’s Day who knows! Thanks for looking 👀

This week’s offerings to the fighting game lords

Not as much as far as quantity this week but quality is sure there. I was in my friends retro gaming store yesterday and somebody came in with over 25 sticks as a trade. They are not happy so they called me and I bought everything that was in good condition for 50% off as well as 50% more trade towards them. After everything I ended up with a snack box micro artwork, a Madcatz Soul Caliber stick that’s looking absolutely amazing. I did a few mods already and it looks incredible. There’s a few other guys hanging out in there. See if you guys can spot them. Everybody have a great weekend. ✌️

This weeks grind n a gift!

This week was super exciting, I got in this SAMDUCKSA Crazy Dongpal Pro Lever.
Then a call that I’ve been waiting for a long time to receive. A guy sold a The Victrix Pro FS in almost perfect condition to my buddies pawn shop. He sold it to me for $100. I got it home and the 5 pin was disconnected as well as 3 face buttons. I swapped out the lever for the Korean version and all the buttons for Crown 👑 bubblegum 30mm(the best imo) Got a cool little dock for my OLED switch to play around with on the mini stick! Cool for $60. Didn’t get much time in on the Haure42 yet. Then the most exciting thing I got was the yellow fightstick from Lazy Nerds. My family wanted to buy me a gift for my birthday so they pitched in and bought me a custom set up rather than me get money and build something myself. I have to say it’s really nice to not be the one building everything, this set up is awesome. Perfect size for travel and he even threw in a lever protector. I also purchased some 3d printed restrictor gates. A circular, a 8 way, and a 16 way. Very happy with everything that came through this week! Oh and the last one. The PS rip. I paid $46 for this thing and it was worth every penny. Now I have much better equipment to play with, but if you’re just getting started, this is the perfect entry level leverless. It definitely punches way higher than its weight class. I would say the PlayStation one is going to dominate it, but for less than $50 there’s nothing out there that has impressed me the way this thing has. Very, very low actuation on the buttons. Impressively low. The build feels a little bit cheap but after you’re working on four and $500 fightsticks it’s kind of hard to go back. Regardless, this is a good purchase.

Any experience with this one?

I saw these pop up on Amazon and I have some credit. I went ahead and snagged one and I’m going to put it in something beefy like a Hori RAP. What’s the opinions out there? I’m excited for this, I’ve been playing on a knee lever and I love it so far.

Only VIPS can party with me on Saturday night

These are all the personal collection higher end, additions as of recent. My favorite so far it definitely has to be between that SWORL, or I have a DiOI fightstick that had to sit it out because I broke the ribbon connecting the PCP to the stick. Reinforcements are on their way. Good thing it’s an easy fix. I’m definitely gonna do a comparison of a stick they have versus this HAUTE 42 set up. It’s not great right now, but it has a lot of potential. I like their uses thelow profile switches. Everything about this one makes sense and once I can get some tension in the lever and swap that ball for a Battop, then I’ll be much happier. I was confused cause I’ve seen some people with this exact same stick and they had different flavors, but it’s because I also found out that the X module from the fully modular controller. I think it’s the X series is the replacement for the standard issue. I guess that comes with this gold set up here. If you got some really nice clicky switches throw them in there carefully cause it’s on ribbon as well thank God it’s labeled so they made it easy. As of what I know right now you can’t change the stick. It’s a magnetic proprietary thing. I’m sure you could make one yourself. I don’t know how do that but when those modular sticks become available again I would say by a couple because you can’t even find them for overprice ridiculous. Crap I’ve seen. There’s literally none unless you go on eBay and buy one from a person. I saw a couple that were new with all the modules for 3 to 400 bucks. Not paying all that I’ll wait. I say that this is a good start to something bigger could be really awesome from HAUTE. I did not like that at first either, but they have come a long way and software configurator is much better than it used to be. I’ve always had issues with it staying connected, especially in the summer when it was raining really bad every day. The Evangeline and perfect condition. Always wanted one and finally added it. I have a persona fight stick. I’m working on with a Korean lever, but it’s not completely finished. Besides that everything is for sale and I’m not adding anything to the collection for a little while. Well, that’s what I keep telling myself. I’m still looking for a Etolkki. I have found out of 10 of them so far and all of them are so disgusting that I’m not even doing it. They were all in person here. And had bugs so it’s been absolute no not even risking it. Gotta keep those eyes peeled. I saw something interesting today. Someone might just jump on it. Mad cats makes it really good standard Korean stick if you don’t have one and are nervous about installing one into something you own, and don’t wanna break the bank. I saw one on eBay for less than 150 and really good condition. It was tempting, but at this point, I can put one of those into anything that will hold it. I’m only really going after stuff that is super special and either hard to find or just super cool. Anything pictured here is for sale for the most part. I have tons of may May flash, Hori, Qanba, etc all day long! Modded and ready or cleaned up and working waiting on you! Everybody have a good weekend 🫠🤦‍♂️😎

What in gods name is this? Has anyone tried it with fighting games?

I was looking through Amazon to see what levers they sell and the usual suspects were there. Then I saw this thing and it got my attention. I understand how it would work switches instead of four, but I wonder if anyone has tried it. I’m not willing to spend that much money, even if there is a return policy. Sometimes they take over a month to give you your money back. If it’s actually good then I might give it a shot. I’ve tried and owned everything you could think of from K-levers to Semitsu Nobi to Sanwa. I have never seen anything like this and I was wondering if anyone else has any input or suggestions? Thank you take it easy y’all. ✌️😎

These Trackball Fightbox controllers have destroyed me. I’ve never had an issue changing things up inside these arcade sticks or swapping buttons. PCB is nothing. I’ve always been able to figure it out. I’ve reached out to fight box recently, and asked for a diagram for wiring on the M6 model and the M10. Both of these are the models with a track ball. So I got so excited I bought three at first. Tried to mod the M 10 and I got everything working at one point except for the joystick would only go in One Direction. I couldn’t get past that. With the M6 all I could get it to register in Steam was out of the three Facebook buttons one was registering as a mouse left click middle was both right and left and right was right click. The two buttons on the side that should be used for pinball were not even registering. I contacted Fightbox about all of these problems and I either get no answers or there was one guy that just mocked me. I was even questioned as to where I bought the things even though I don’t have to share that with anybody, but I have nothing to hide. I bought one on Amazon and two on eBay. They actually asked me that and also were not helpful. They did not provide me with any diagrams for wiring. They did not help me in any way shape or form. Just asked a bunch of questions and never got back with me. Any information I did receive was very minimal. It sucks because I really want to play these things with pinball games with my kids. That’s why I bought multiple trackball models off the rip. So I’m hoping that the Reddit community is kind enough to help me get these two working and myself and the kids rocking some pinball games. Like I mentioned i downloaded them to Steam. I have a few pinball games on switch already and I plugged it in with a flash adapter and it actually worked as a mouse, but I couldn’t get the buttons to do anything unfortunately. It’s a shame. I’m having such a hard time with these things because I’m loyal and spend lots of money with the companies that take care of me. I will not be spending another dime on anything made by fight box that’s for sure. I learned my lesson. Hopefully somebody out there can help me. Appreciate any information thank you guys.

Another week of crazy building fight sticks all day long. This week I got to actually build a few for myself.. my Doio fightstick finally showed up and it’s super impressive. I screwed up and forgot to order a different restricted gate. I wanted a circular one and some new key caps but it’s OK. It’s better than I thought. So heavy, it’s crazy. The hit box that I managed to score this week. That looks similar is an incredible build too. The prices are coming down on their product so I would keep an eye out. These fight box jump offs are OK but they wouldn’t survive 18 inch drop on tile. I could throw this DOIO fight stick out the window of my house was on fire and have plenty of room to jump out the window. Lol seriously the things a monster I wish they were easier for people to get their hands on. It took me almost a year. Happy hunting guys. I am done for the week.
