So for the last decade I wanted a pinup retro glam tattoo sleeve. As of April this year, not only did I save enough, I also found my artist and studio here in San Diego.

But as to the artist, all my tattoos were done by Ceb Zaitz, their instagram is @loverseyetattoo. I found them based on all of their pinups (of all genders and sexual orientations.) They made every design based on some pretty unhinged reference photos and requests, took all my color choices and themes and ran with them, never once made me feel bad for making customizations after it was placed or drawn.

Further, they accommodated my schedule, and managed to do all of this in 6 sessions spanning 4-6 hours.

I have already gotten a side life that is a red leopard, but did not include as it’s not pinup themed specifically.

So I have been wanting to do a pinup girl sleeve, that was glam, red and just very 1950s retro for over a decade. I finally saved up and pulled the trigger this year! All done in American traditional style. I found Ceb Zaitz who loved to do pinups (any and all genders) and American traditional style.

From the moment of my first session to my most recent, every design has been made for me, timely, with care, and with all my color and design input throughout. They always made me feel seen, heard and taken cared of. The work speaks for itself. They all healed beautifully!
