Critique my serve

I feel like I'm getting a little of a waiter's tray but can't tell...and need to make sure I can keep my AmEx sponsorship alive.

Forehand on falling ball

I hit the ball a lot better near the Apex or even on the rise, but it’s the ball is falling from the Apex too much after the bounce I tend to awkwardly hit the ball and it will fly up into the right, probably because of a racket face that’s open way too much… or sometimes I hit it straight down to the bottom of the net

Just wondering if I’m the only one or if there’s any advice

I imagine the following should be reinforced, but just curious if there’s mental cues that have helped you

Some I can think of:
- footwork - get to the ball to have the right spacing
- bend knees so you can go low to high better
- lack of confidence knowing I miss this shot certainly not always but not my forte
- proper unit turn and visualize catching the ball with my left hand before swinging with a fluid body motion with both arms and torso
- follow through don’t be hesitant and pause just after hitting thinking it’s going to be an error

Mall created “premium parking” spots

Best part is 10% goes to charity… Where does the other 90% go then?

Used to go to the mall for lunch, but I guess not anymore

Right now, these spots are pretty vacant and everything else is packed

31 minute layover MSP update

Well this was eventful but not for the typical reasons
- flight to MSP arrived 15 minutes early, great!
- waited for my fam in basic for 10 other minutes
- had to get D4 to B12 maybe 0.7 miles per chatgpt
- got there 2:48 or 27 minutes before departure just as zone 1 was wrapping up boarding
- 2:49 my significant other says she left her phone
- find my iPhone says it’s at D4
- I call it and the flight attendant answers saying they’ll put it at the gate agent
- I make a decision at 2:50 that I’m the fastest one (not in top shape though) but I go to get it leaving my carryon with my crew
- B12 departure gate says I have 20 minutes - I confirm I’ll back back 3:05 before the 20 minutes because that’s only 10 minutes before scheduled departure
- I sprint to D4 again calling the number slowing slightly to catch my breath and yes the gate agent had it
- the gate agent was awesome - just as I made it nearby they see me running and have already walked a bit from the gate to cut me off
- I catch the train back and make it at 3:02, though the gate agent told my fam that they were going to close early (despite many people still in the ramp) who I am told pulled up the close gate time to 3:02 as well
- I’m still on the plane sweating - wish I had some napkins but already taxiing but have the phone with me

Edit: changed crew to fam

31 minute layover in MSP. Wish me luck.

Anyone experience this tight of a connection?

Will check bags…but
(1) traveling with people who are in….basic (near back)
(2) switching from a 737 to a CRJ so I assume it’s on other ends of the airport

Doable but hopefully the first flight is early

Brilliant vs Great

First time poster, but is it common that the summary says I’m brilliant but the actual review says the moves are only great? Maybe this has been answered 1000 times. I’m just wondering how it works.

Why can’t I upgrade via the app?

A lot of D1 seats left in this flight coming up in a few days.

The agent was able to offer an upgrade via text a day ago, but do I need to reach out directly instead of the app?

Hoping to easily see the price if it comes down. Was $1,099 to go to D1 yesterday so was hoping to see a drop.

Note that on the outbound I did upgrade via the app….maybe that’s partially why I can’t see an additional upgrade because I did it once via the app?
