Its the end of a great journey we made great memories and had fun!
I think we all loved the game but its time to say goodbye!

Hey r/google_antigravity,
Quick update on this — I posted yesterday in r/grokbuild about forking Grok Build the day it went open source. Since then it's grown a lot more than I expected, so here's where things actually stand now.
I'm the founder of Failure, a small AI startup (5 of us). We build a mix of open-source and paid AI tools, and Grok Build going open source was too good to pass up. What started as a rebrand has turned into a real fork with its own feature set:
Bring your own provider. Grok Build ships tied to x.ai. Ours lets you plug in OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, or any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint — named [provider.*] profiles in config, or just --provider/--api-key/--base-url on the command line. x.ai still works exactly like it always did if you don't touch any of this.
The model list now follows your provider automatically. This is new since my last post — instead of a hardcoded model list, it pulls the real catalog from whatever provider you've configured (including your own custom endpoint) and refreshes it fresh on every app launch. Add a new model on your provider's side and it just shows up next time you open the app, no update needed.
Runs on Android now, through Termux. Five platforms in the release pipeline as of this week: Linux x86_64/arm64, macOS Apple Silicon, Windows, and Android via Termux. No .apk, since Android doesn't have a general-purpose terminal, but the binary runs the same as anywhere else once you're in Termux.
New themes. Dracula and Catppuccin Mocha are in now, using their real published palettes, alongside the original set.
Its own release pipeline. Real GitHub Releases, installable via curl | bash, irm | iex, or npm, with stable/alpha channel pointers already live.
A real in-app auto-updater, not just a rebrand skin. failure update points at our own infra instead of quietly trying to update against x.ai's.
New branding top to bottom. Name, logo (an original mark, not a reused asset), themes, the works.
Still early days for a lot of this — some of it is genuinely days old — so expect rough edges, especially on the Android side, which doesn't have auto-update support yet (you re-download the binary manually for now). If you try it, I'd love to hear what breaks or what's missing.

Happy to answer questions about the fork, the BYOP setup, the Android build, or anything else.

I'm the founder of Failure, a small AI startup (5 of us) — we build a mix of open-source and paid AI tools. The second Grok Build went open source, I couldn't resist forking it. A few days later it's turned into a full rebrand with a couple of features we'd wanted for a while:
Bring your own provider. Grok Build ships tied to x.ai. Ours lets you plug in OpenAI, Anthropic, Ollama, or any custom OpenAI-compatible endpoint via named [provider.*] profiles in config — or just pass --provider/--api-key on the command line. x.ai still works exactly like it always did.

New branding top to bottom — name, logo (an original braille-art mark, not a reused asset), themes, the works.
It's still very early — this is days old, not a mature product — so expect rough edges. If you poke at it, I'd genuinely love to hear what breaks or what's missing.
