Question about Taxidermy pelts

So where do you guys get your pelts for mounting if you didnt kill/skin the animal yourself? Im asking because im a beginner taxidermist and right now all of the pieces ive done have been made from mountable pelts i got off etsy but im wondering if theres any other places to get them.

Opossum spine articulation Help

So ive had this opossum spine for quite some time and my plan has been from the start to articulate the spine. However i would like the spine to still be posable after articulation. At first i was going to put them on a wire but i dont know if theres a way to do it like that to where they wont rotate on the wire and become discombobulated. How should i go about doing this if there is a way to do it?
