High libido F/66; husband makes excuses

Where do I start? I'm 66, was sexually active before marriage 43 yrs ago; husband was a virgin.

I have PCOS, which causes slightly high testosterone in women.

Because of the time/place I grew up in in my teens, we had certain ideas about sex: missionary position only, nothing oral. If a woman did oral she was seen as slutty. Men were seen as less masculine if they went down on a woman. These ideas still color my perceptions, but I'm actually ok with them.

Here's the thing: after we got married, my husband started researching sex techniques etc via VHS tapes he rented or bought, and it opened up new ideas for BOTH of us, bc before him it was just ordinary vanilla sex. For yrs our sex life was AMAZING, and we tried everything.

But after menopause, though my libido stayed high, his started to change. We tried Viagra but it didn't help. I tried everything.

He has health issues so I know that's part of it.

Thinking about all this has led me to think about other things too. Things I wonder if others my age go through.

Fellatio in my day/place was seen as forbidden. That made me want to do it but it would've made guys think I was trashy. My husband is the only one I ever did it with and he had me watch videos to know how.

He loved going down on me, and even though it made me cum for the first time, I don't like it bc of that old attitude that it makes men less masculine. And giving it, for me, turns me on like crazy BECAUSE it was seen as forbidden yrs ago.

Am I the only one who is like this, or in this situation?

Has anyone taken hydroxyzine?

66 y/o F, plaque psoriasis 90% of my body for 9 yrs. I don't mind having it except for the %$#@ intense itch and secondarily, the flaking.

I told my dr I need to get my sleep (severe sleep apnea and using cpap nightly), so he prescribed hydroxyzine 50 mg.

WOW. The itching stopped as did flaking after only 1 dose 2 days ago. I'm waiting to see if it returns. I only had to take one 50 mg pill but it left me very dopey and disoriented the next day. I'm going to cut it down to 25 mg if I need to take one again.

I'd be very interested to know if anyone else used or uses it, and what the experience was like.

Phototherapy

I had guttate in the 80s, have had plaque for past 9 yrs. 66 y/o female.

For 9 yrs I've treated with otc's except for 1 period using Dovonex/calcipotriene which worked but had to stop it due to excess calcium in the blood.

Anyway, bc my plaque covers 90% of me now, derm suggests phototherapy since I don't want steroids or biologics due to immune system concerns.

Has anyone ever done it? How did it go? I don't mind the psoriasis I just hate the itching and flaking (in that order).

She did say my psoriasis seems to be getting better in the areas where its receded into outlines and not being filled in like before.
