Anyone know if the Steam Machine is gonna let you download and run 3rd party software like ReWASD?

My buddy was telling me it’ll be able to be used like a PC, but he mostly meant in terms of using search engines and such. I’m curious if it’ll let people run software while gaming that’ll help disabled gamers.

I use ReWASD for a couple games and it helps quite a bit. I also use a different software I downloaded that allows me to use foot pedals. At the very least, I’d imagine you’d be able to use the Steam controller input customizations.

Any good, free online resources to learn the math classes required for the Mathematics Education Bachelors?

I recently decided to go back and get my bachelors for teaching math. But it’s been almost 10 years since I’ve taken a college math class and it was only Algebra.

Truthfully, I have not applied yet. I figured I might spend some time beforehand learning the math material through free resources online and take practice tests till I feel confident in each area, and then apply.

I’m honestly just trying to save money. I’d rather learn what I can before starting to pay for tuition. I’m not sure if this is a good idea or not, but I figure the math fundamentals will transfer over, even if I learned the material from a different source.

Anyone else do something similar and have some resources they found helpful?!

How’s the buff feeling???

Junker Queen is my favorite tank, but In definitely better on Sigma or Orisa. I get blown up as Junker Queen lol.

I’m hopping on tonight to play some ranked with the boys. How’s the buff feeling? Is it pretty noticeable?

Bill Lawrence shows are starting to feel too formulaic for me.

I’ll preface by saying Bill Lawrence is a fantastic writer and producer. I grew up watching Scrubs and the first season of Ted Lasso was a 10/10. He’s very talented at writing comedies that tug at the heartstrings.

I watched Shrinking without realizing it was Bill Lawrence. I just saw Jason Segal, who I love, with Harrison Ford and thought I’d give it a go. After finishing it, I told my friends that was like Ted Lasso, but not as good in my opinion. Then Rooster came out. I watched an episode and I haven’t continued.

It’s starting to feel formulaic. Get a well known, straight, white, comedic actor that will pull people’s attention and put them in a “Ted Lasso” type show. The writing is good and the shows are comforting, but the lack of diversity in the main characters is making the shows feel kinda bland. And the story’s feel is the same, if that makes sense.

I’m not really one to complain about diversity in shows. I’m a straight, white guy myself and often don’t think about that stuff. It’s more so that it’s just getting a bit boring to me. I feel a different person’s perspective than my own or even just not following that “Ted Lasso” feel with each show would be more interesting. But again, I get they’re comforting, well written shows, so maybe I’m in the minority.

My left arm goes about 3 inches past the elbow joint. I am able to move my elbow normally still, but tbh, only having the 3 inches and no fingers to grip stuff makes it extremely hard to work out the bicep/triceps. It’s super helpful for carrying in groceries tho.

Truthfully tho, my biggest problem is my chest. I’ve taken numerous weight lifting classes and they always just have me use a dumbbell instead of doing bench press and such. That’s great, but this leads to there being a noticeable difference in the right and left side of my chest. Tbh, it’s hard to want to work out when you just end up looking lopsided.

Any suggestions for how to work out the upper body of the missing arm’s side more? Or any suggestions to weight lifters who have a similar disability as myself that I could check out their content?
