I work in a hospital as a non healthcare worker, I always notice the small things, especially things that should be extremely important & should be a standard to know. For example: knowing CPR should be essentially taught in school, as it can save a life anywhere in the world.

As sleep deprivation takes a toll on me, i try and think of the bigger picture. This is all temporary . Ironically i wish my kids didn’t grow past 2yrs young. I want them to look for me in comfort. In sadness and walk thru the house door and seeing their excitement cause daddy made it home to them and them having open arms running to me. I know one day itll be the last time they do that.
Some of us dads really don’t feel like themselves most days. The pressure of being able to provide, falling short. Wondering if what we are doing is enough. Some of us really still going because we don’t know what life they would live, without us in it.
