Which monitor should I go with?

Looking to upgrade from my 1080p monitor for my Xbox Series X. These are my top Mini LED and OLED options. Big price difference, but I do have about $100 in gift cards that can make the prices a little closer.

I’m mostly gaming at night, but I will occasionally work from home, and I use a lot of spreadsheets. That makes me lean Mini LED, but I’m not against just using my 1080p monitor when working from home.

Has anyone got either of these and have any feedback or recommendations?

Edit: Also if it matters, I am planning on getting a gaming PC within the next year or two.

Recommendations for XSX and future PC?

I currently game on my Xbox Series X, with a 27” 1080p 180hz Acer monitor. I play a mix of some single player and multiplayer games (Resident Evil, 007, Rocket League, FC26, Marvel Rivals).

I’ve done so much online research, and the more research I do the less I know what to get. There are way too many options. I obviously would like to still have at least 180hz since I’m planning on building a PC within the next year. My budget is $400-$700 USD. I’m not picky between 27” and 32” monitors. What I’m getting hung up on is Mini LED vs OLED and 4K vs 1440p.

I’d like a 4K monitor for the XSX, but I know because of my budget, my future PC would target 1440p. Also, I usually only game at night in a dark room, which makes me lean towards OLED. On the other hand, I do sometimes work from home, and I deal with a lot of spreadsheets, so I’d be worried about future burn in (even though there’s lots of technology in place to help prevent that).

If anyone has been in this similar situation and has any recommendations please let me know.
