Hello, I’m a 22F. I live my life normally and I’ve never really paid attention to this subject, which is men. I’ve never had a connection with a man, not even as a friend or a significant other. But I’ve started realizing that the older I get, the more anxious and awkward I become around men. I literally can’t have a normal conversation with one, and I can barely look them in the eye.
I feel like it’s starting to affect more than just my chances of finding a future partner. It’s affecting my social life too. Like, what if I get a job and I’m still like this? I can’t spend my whole life avoiding men or being awkward around them, and honestly, I don’t know how to get out of this habit.
