Charger wont come off Solterra

I went to a BP Charging Station today and when the charge was done, the charger wouldnt let go. The BP station screen told me 'charging done, please return charger', my car was off and unlocked. I 'reset' the car by unlocking it 6 times- that didnt work. According to the BP representative, I also tried turning the car on, then back off. Nothing.

Even the emergency release wouldn't work at first. I tugged on the release wire under the hood for 20 minutes until a nice gentleman came to help me. As I pulled the release wire, he unplugged the car. But it took 2 of us to do it.

Anyone have this particular problem? I read the other Reddit threads and didn't see anyone else that did all the things and still couldn't get it to release.

I still cant tell if I did something, or I have a malfunction I need to take it in for.

Locked phone, is it really just trash now?

So my good friend's Google Pixel phone fell out of her pocket on a rollercoaster. She filed her insurance, got a new phone.

Fast forward 3 months, the theme park finds it and it's still in good condition. She already had a phone, so she sells me the rollercoaster one.

However her carrier, even if she calls and explains the story, won't unlock it. I get it, easy way to fraudulently get a new phone right?

But is this phone seriously just as good as trash? Environmentally that is really bothersome.

And yes, she refunded me what I paid her for the paperweight.
