I get they need to pay their employees, but isn’t this a little too much?

Also “if you don’t like it, just remove it in the settings.” It doesn’t remove the microtransactions, just the shortcut to get to one of them.

U/pccatmage72 used an alt to give hate speech, resulting in his reddit account receiving a suspension / permanent ban

TLDR: You don't need to read everything below, the pictures and captions summarize it.

If you wanna see for yourself: https://www.reddit.com/user/pccatmage72/

While its still currently allowed, please refrain from making posts asking or discussing drama, and instead make comments below, thank you.

I'm not going to explain everything that has happened up until now, I'll keep this brief: u/pccatmage72 was a highly active user on r/blocktales but constantly pushed the limits and broke rules. We the mod team, needed to remove dozens of his posts, eventually we needed to give him a 2 week ban late last month. Despite that we didn't see any improvements in his behavior whatsoever.

Needless to say, we were speechless when we saw: On Sunday August 23rd, u/pccatmage72 used an alt account to reply to a user that blocked his main account, and then bragged out it in a Discord server, one where he is completely aware that some of our mods regularly look at (pictures #1 & #2). We promptly permabanned the alt, and waited 24 hours for a poll in our mod chat for how long his main account should be banned (picture #3).

In the mean time, all of his posts were caught by Reddit's ban evasion (picture #4), confirming that the account we permabanned was in fact his alt: the filter didn't trigger before the alt was banned, and that was the only account banned between then and when he got caught by the filter. After the poll, I banned his account for 30 days. u/pccatmage72 then confessed and tried justifying it in modmail try (pictures #6 - 11), we were quite annoyed by the spam so we muted him (I needed to show the other mods how to mute users, something that mods should never have to do but must sometimes). We were expecting to see him again in 30 days, however only hours later, u/pccatmage72's account got suspended (the term Reddit sometimes uses to refer to sitewide permabans they give). The picture (#5) shared by u/pccatmage72 on Discord says it was due to ban evasion, but we (including the mod team) do not know the whole process used at Reddit for this decision.

We are all saddened by the loss, u/pccatmage72 was deeply passionate about this subreddit as well as Blocktales and Cassie, and genuinely boosted activity and morale in the community. however, hate speech is never tolerated here, or anywhere on Reddit. Using an alt account & knowing that his main account was blocked by a user: he insulted their sexual orientation.

I've already linked Reddit rules multiple times here before, but apparently I need to do so again, If you must then please read all of them in the sidebar of the linked page:

Ban evasion usually refers to a redditor being banned from a community, then using an alternative Reddit account to continue participating in that community.
Ban evasion can also refer to a community being created or repurposed to reconstitute or serve the same objective as a previously banned community. This will be addressed directly by the site admins and does not require a moderator report.
Both are a violation of the Reddit Rules and could result in a sitewide suspension.
Community ban evasion: It's up to community moderators to decide who participates in their community, so even if you disagree with the reason for your ban you shouldn't attempt to evade it. Some moderators may be okay with a redditor returning to their community on another account so long as they participate in good faith, as such we only review ban evasion reports when they are reported by the community moderators.
The redditor must be banned from the community in question for us to consider them as evading their ban, we will not consider automoderator shadow bans as community bans.

Try to explain your decisions and not vaguepost challenge (impossible)

If this was them scrapping Grave/Dagger, I’d understand it, even if the doc is literally ai slop.

But red has nothing to do with Decaying Winter anymore, why are you rescrapping the collab?

Holy shit, what is wrong with you guys?

Hello, your local baker here. So I went onto Reddit and found out about this whole thing, and I wanted to yap about it.

So if this is the first post you see about this on your timeline or you’re just incredibly confused, allow me to fill you in. Apparently, Ren recently made a VTuber model of her OC, and disregarding my resentment towards Ren, I think it’s cute. Even if it took her dismantling the reputation of a well known and well respected man and game to get there, but hey, whatever.

Now people have the right to be angry about this because she literally destroyed a well-established game just to get a cult following. That’s a perfectly fine critique. What I don’t understand is what some people are saying about the model itself, saying it’s, and I quote, “pedophilic” and “it’s just a child”

My brother in Christ, that’s a fucking flat chested woman. Have you guys ever actually seen a woman in real life before? And even if it is a kid, it looks more like a 16-17 year old than a 10 year old.

There are so many things to criticise about Ren, and you choose this? Like bro, you guys are either grown men or women or young teenagers complaining about a woman making an VTuber avatar of her OC. Let that fucking sink in.

Some of you fucking disgust me.

I’ve never felt such vitriolic rage towards this game before.

Really? Paid packs for probably dogshit skins and emotes? I thought I was playing forsaken, not chasing.

You guys do not need any more Robux guys, you’re already extremely popular.
