Like many in India, I'm frustrated by the missing Days of Play 2026 discounts on the Indian store, especially after the recent price hikes (Extra is now ₹8,709).
I'm planning to create a secondary Indonesian account since its PS Plus Extra price is practically half (approx. ₹4,100 - ₹4,500 with the 25% Days of Play discount). I plan to buy IDR gift cards from SEAGM/Play-Asia, activate "Console Sharing and Offline Play," and play on my main account.
Before I pull the trigger, can anyone confirm:
1 Does Game Sharing work perfectly? Can I download Extra Catalog games on the Indo account, then switch to my primary Indian account to play, earn trophies, and use online multiplayer?
2 Is it 100% safe from bans? Has anyone ever faced a console or account ban for using an Asian region account for cheaper subscriptions?
3 Any language or DLC catches? Are English versions of games easy to find in Region 3 (Indonesia)? Will it conflict if I play physical Indian game discs (Region 2)?
