Was Wednesday Nov 12 2025 ever subbed?
Going through my list of theories to sub, but I could have sworn Nov 12 2025 was already subbed. It's the episode where Kuro-chan can't talk due to surgery, and the Wednesday staff set him up with all sorts of situations where the ability to speak would be incredibly helpful.
Can't find it on Gaki Archives though.
Booking Tokyo Game Show Tickets? DON'T USE THE OFFICIAL LINK!
Just tried to buy general admission to Tokyo Game Show. The purchase link provided on the site is the Chinese version of the ticket buying site. You need to provide your phone number to complete your purchase, but it only let me enter a Chinese/Taiwan phone number.
Instead, I successfully got tickets by going to the booking site directly, and searching for "Tokyo Game Show" on the site. That let me enter a +1 phone number.
EDIT: Actually I just got this message:
>Canceled Your booking has been automatically canceled because payment timed out. We welcome you to book again.
My SO is trying now.
EDIT 2: Visa worked. Dunno why my Amex didn't work.
2x shinai vs 1/2 shinai + kendo on skates. Two kendo related Wednesday Downtown theories I subbed.
2x vs 1/2 size sports is about even. Part 2, Nov 22 2017.

The site just straight up crashes when the drops are released, and sold out when it comes back online. You'd think they'd have a lottery system for this kind of stuff.
The 99 Ming onramp situation really needs to be sorted out
First it was going to reopen in May, that got delayed to June, now it's delayed until July. When it first closed, you either knew about it or you didn't. There were no detour signs up, it wasn't until you were on the onramp until there was a sign that it was closed, and you'll have to get on the 58.
They eventually set up two detours, either you go down Wible and turn left on California, or you go down Real and turn right on California. At first I had been going down Wible, but after two days of unannounced closures of Wible where I had to divert to Real anyway, I started taking Real. Now that school's closed, traffic is way better on Real.
Except today. California on ramp is also closed? Real/California, Oak/California, absolute shitshow today. Oak/California looked like a traffic circle with all the cars in the middle of the intersection turned every direction.
The left lane on California was backed up because of the onramp closure. I saw a white truck try to cross the intersection on a green and couldn't because of the backed up traffic. Which is normal, except then you see other people swoop into that lane and sit in the intersection. Absolute madhouse.
What's with the tip screen at the Hilton LAX marketplace?
Landed from a flight, I normally park at Hilton LAX. Decided to grab a drink from the little shop they have there. A bottle of tea was over $8, which, yes, was robbery, but I'm actually not complaining about that.
Their tip screen though. What the fuck? It's self-service first off, had to wait several minutes before I could find someone to man the register so I could pay for the drink. Tip screen had set tips you could choose from, or "other". I'm paying $8.23 for a 16 oz bottle of tea, I'm not gonna tip extra money. I hit the "other" button, and it asked you how much you wanted to tip, with a red and a green circle. Well I hit the red circle, cause I'm not gonna tip.
Which apparently cancels the transaction!
I thought it bugged out or something, so the cashier ran me up again, I hit the red circle, transaction cancelled.
Eventually the cashier flipped the POS back to his side, entered 0.00 into the tip screen, and hit the green circle.
This is the most obnoxious tipping screen I've ever seen.
Visited the Mazda museum in Hiroshima this morning. Doing the post-visit survey.
Anyone know the way to WA Osaka from Osaka Station?
Google Maps is saying to exit at Sakurabashi, then walk around the block, crossing multiple streets, to get to the hotel.
The internet says to exit from Umekita, which on the map is right in front of the hotel.
Google Maps from Umekita exit to the hotel, again, walk all the way back around, cross multiple streets, etc.
Looking at satellite view, exiting at Umekita makes sense, it's literally in front of the hotel. If you've been there, what's the correct exit to take?
