An idea I had, that was sparked by the recent Mother 1 SNES remake, is for a potential "GameCube" Mother 3 remake?

During Mother 3's development, it started as a 3D N64 game, until it was canceled in 2000, they had briefly considered moving to GameCube, but decided not to.

My idea, is a potential fan made remake based around the idea of "what if Mother 3 moved to GameCube, instead of GBA?" It would essentially be a combination of the gameplay and artstyle (updated accordingly to GCN standards) of N64 Mother 3, with the script of the final GBA Mother 3.

What do you think? This is all just a hypothetical idea for a fan game, so don't take it too seriously, I just think it might be a neat idea.
