Pretend you were the creator of the show. When would you have personally ended it?

I would have just ended it at Season 2. It wraps up everything nearly and ends with an ending that’s satisfying but still leaves the mystery alive and people wanting more.

I can’t be the only one who hates those people that claim that the show was “never good” or “is permanently ruined” now because of Season 5, right?

I hate Season 5 more now than I did back when it came out, but that shouldn’t immediately undermine the genuinely amazing seasons that preceded it.
