Snagged big Jimothy for the wife at start of show, reaction 🥹 was as expected. I'll be lucky to keep half the grams, all the ladies in the family are Jimothy fans. Pulled the Eevee early & the the N64 card end of show. Maximum play for maximum payoff! Nice lid'l pre-bday evening, randomizer treated me right.

Thanks to all who popped into my whatnot birthday stream, had a lot of fun chatting with y'all & trying to run a show. Hopefully the earthquake moments & general disarray weren't too off-putting. Goodie bags are in the mail. Bottom row are results of party ripping, the rest were arrivals from heavy buying & trading the previous weekend. Y'all made a hell of a mess! 😁 Time got a lid'l tight racing towards dinner so by request, the scratchers are posted in my funky new Ballet wallet wallet...base amounts as expected but scrilla is scrilla & wallets stack so always appreciative!

Started out as just a very nice Mail Day. Got the last MR I needed for the set, first gem Rolex for the PC & another citrine to keep climbing the ladder. Then it was time for the dreaded office cleanup. In one of the boxes from dooley's big show in June I found a brown envelope at the bottom containing the Chup & DSHF (substitution, not on the receipt). I had also misplaced & blanked on the envelope with the amys a couple weeks ago. Blanked so hard that I was trying to work a deal for the amy Banksy on Sunday🤦‍♂️Luckily, between my 'thriftiness' and trading partner standing on business for card value, that card was not part of the deal. Anyhow, marvel at my beauties & laugh at my foolhardiness.

Couldn't hit at the show, but 2 givvys & bad beat bonus pumped up the pile. Awesome assortment of grams. I had to marvel at the arrowheads for a while, just lovely bits!

All the blue came from the 'magical' 3C show, Oni mask Satoshi rip from yodooley Mega & the rest from the Bay. Great cards, I like the Maple Leaf but I'm not 'crazy' about it 😆 The Satoshi looks sooo good in Imperial, got slackjaw on the pull!

Added another handful of s5 gems & picked up a Speak & sBeryl My 1st Shaolin card.

Found the slabs floating around the eBay pool, stacked them up & got out silly cheap. Nothing fancy, but nice to have just...encased. I'll see myself out.

Watched all the names that usually hit big miss, felt like it was Opposite Day and had to jump in. Never expected this, I would've been happy just to watch this happen for anyone else!

With 3 of the latest beauts representing African currency, what better surroundings than my SA shelf. Besides the beer & sports bits (my wife crammed the books in for fun, NOT mine) are items collected on a safari with my father in 2000. The white shell is from a land critter! The eggs are cherished gifts from the in-laws.

Results of a couple shows & mildly decent inner collectors box rip. Been on a silver stacking kick lately, cards & metal. Gram to gram value, there's no contest...cards outweigh the metal 😁

Had the mail on hold while away for a few, this and more greeted me upon return. Picked up some nice gems & further encroachment into s4. Also displayed, great example of a Mosasaur tooth won on florida's show.

Big one today. Found a string of underperforming auctions & kept swinging. Great appreciation for the snapshots in time, meme-able moments, titans of government & industry, and the crypto pioneers. The recurring samurai theme is a personal delight.
