Wrote something for my boyfriend(was an ex for 10 years)
Just wrote something for my boyfriend and he was praising it so much. I was really happy that he liked it. I was waiting to share my story and today felt right. We were childhood sweethearts. He had a crush on me since our 7th grade and I used to like him too. We proposed to each other in our 9th grade and it went great till we were in our 11th grade. Then came the break. He broke up with me over a minor misunderstanding(we were young). I was waiting for him to contact me coz what he said when he broke up with me had completely broke my confidence. He didn’t reach out coz he didn’t know how to face me after what he did(he took 5 yrs to tell me this). Many things have changed in those 5 yrs and we couldn’t get back together. Fast forward to this july, after 10 long years after our breakup, we finally met in a senior’s wedding. I realised the moment I saw him how much I still love him. I gathered all my courage and confessed to him. Thank goodness, he reciprocated my feelings. He still had feelings for me. So, we finally got back together after 10 long years and I’m literally on cloud 9. It’s been a month and I’m the happiest ever since.
