He makes and awesome cover as well. for me the cover is my favorite part of the diary but most people will side with the inside and andre delivers in spades.

Magnoli props made this. It’s their new updated version, which is the proper size as the original made by Daniel Reeve. I aged the cover to be more SA. I‘m happy to share how I did if you also would like to age one you may have purchased like I did.
I made the cover from scratch including having a book binding embossing fillet made for the blind tooling around the border.
the inside of this one was made by sarednab and I added the aging and water color to the pages.
cover I made using veg tanned natural calf skin I hand dyed and aged to mirror the hero cover. I have hi res images of the front and back so was able to reproduce the cover exactly and as closely as humanly possible.
inside made by Andre Froggatt who also has images of the insides and made a mirror image copy of the inside.

So here is a diary I made to look like the original grail diary which is photo left.
After hand dying and building I aged it with various methods. That said. Have you ever done this to books you have made? What ways did you age them? I’d like this to be a discussion.
5 were ordered according to sources and this was one of them. The real one now owned by Ryan Condal. Has a wonderful caramel color to it.
I made this cover for a replica for a film prop. I used a rugged veg tanned goat hide and dyed to match the original film prop. It’s a wallet style cover so the sewn block fits into the leather leaves inside and can be taken out. The cord is wrapped around old new stock uniform buttons.
