So here is a diary I made to look like the original grail diary which is photo left.
After hand dying and building I aged it with various methods. That said. Have you ever done this to books you have made? What ways did you age them? I’d like this to be a discussion.

5 were ordered according to sources and this was one of them. The real one now owned by Ryan Condal. Has a wonderful caramel color to it.

I made this cover for a replica for a film prop. I used a rugged veg tanned goat hide and dyed to match the original film prop. It’s a wallet style cover so the sewn block fits into the leather leaves inside and can be taken out. The cord is wrapped around old new stock uniform buttons.
