Ive only just recently started getting into Warhammer (a few months), mainly listening to lore podcasts and painting when i can find the time to sit down for a couple hours uninterrupted. So far, this hobby has been amazing and the community online has been nothing but supportive. And yet, I’m struggling to really get into the tabletop part of this hobby.

For context, I’m a teenage girl who studies abroad in a UK school. Theres a GW store in the town we visit every week, but I just cant bring myself to ask anyone there for a quick game. This is partly related to my social anxiety, but I always feel so out of place being in there as the only foreigner and the only female (especially since I’ve still got no clue how to play even after watching countless yt videos).

Has anyone felt similarly? I know its irrational but its a bit intimidating that this seems to be a largely male-dominated hobby. Im trying to muster up the courage to finally go and ask for a game during town visits. Is there maybe some way to play 40k online?

Hi guys, after 2 years of hesitating and wondering if I should get into warhammer, I finally went into my local GW store and got a random set of chaos space marines terminators (wrong army ik ik). After doing some research and having an absolute blast painting my first models, the world eaters caught my eye.

I have no clue where to start though, especially with the 11th edition releasing soon. Should I wait for the new codex? Is the combat patrol currently worth getting? I would really love some tips and advice on how to approach this army - all the models look so damn cool
