Best settings for ROG Ally X (2024)

Hi guys.

I'm but a guy, trying to get the most out of this game. Please note I have followed stting guides etc but I want to experiment more to get less stutters.

I am runnign Bazzite, I also have the decky plugin LSFG-VK with Lossless Scaling. Im only doubling the frames.
Which settings would go a far way to run this game with less stutters?

Current settings:

Some of these have been changed, instead of borderless I run fullscreen for the frame gen. I also limit the frames to 40 so frame gen do most of the heavy lifting.

[REQUEST][Steam] Crimson Desert

Hello r/GiftOfGames,

I hope everyone is having a great day.

First of all, I'd like to thank this incredible community. It's amazing that people are willing to help fellow gamers experience titles they otherwise might never get the chance to play.

Today I'm here to ask for Crimson Desert on Steam.

I've been following this game since it was first revealed, and with every trailer, gameplay showcase, and developer update, I've become more excited. The world looks absolutely breathtaking, the combat seems incredibly satisfying, and the level of freedom to explore a living fantasy world is exactly what I've always looked for in an RPG.

Open-world RPGs have always been my escape after a long day. They're the games where I lose track of time because there's always another cave to explore, another quest to complete, or another story waiting around the corner.

Some of my favourite games of all time are Fallout: New Vegas, Fallout 3, and Fallout 4. The Fallout series is my all-time favourite franchise, closely followed by The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Skyrim. I've also spent countless hours playing The Witcher 3, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Monster Hunter: World, and more recently Tainted Grail: The Fall of Avalon. These aren't games I simply finished—they're worlds I've happily sunk hundreds of hours into because I love exploring every corner, completing side quests, and getting completely immersed.

Crimson Desert feels like it brings together everything I enjoy most. A vast world filled with secrets, cinematic storytelling, fluid combat, memorable characters, and the freedom to simply wander off and create your own adventure. It looks like the kind of game that I'll happily invest hundreds of hours into, discovering every hidden location and completing everything the world has to offer.

The reason I'm making this request is because of where life has taken me recently. Earlier this year I went through a divorce. My ex-wife took most of our belongings, which I completely understood because she has a child to care for. Since then, I've relocated to another province in South Africa and have been rebuilding my life from the ground up.

Financially, it's been a difficult adjustment. A large portion of my salary goes toward paying the bond and maintenance on the house that my ex-wife and I bought together, while I'm also trying to furnish a new place and replace the everyday things that most people take for granted. On top of that, living in South Africa means that newly released AAA games are extremely expensive once the exchange rate is taken into account. As much as I'd love to buy Crimson Desert myself, it's simply not something I can justify right now.

Gaming has always been my way to relax and switch off from the stresses of everyday life. Some of my fondest memories have been wandering the wastelands of Fallout, getting lost in the forests of Skyrim, or exploring the world of The Witcher 3. I truly believe Crimson Desert would become one of those games for me—a world I'd return to again and again for years to come.

If someone were kind enough to gift me this game, I honestly can't express how grateful I'd be. It wouldn't just be another title in my Steam library; it would be an adventure I'd treasure and spend countless hours experiencing.

Thank you for taking the time to read my request. Whether I'm chosen or not, I genuinely appreciate what this community does for gamers around the world, and I hope everyone here gets the opportunity to play the games they're passionate about.

Have a wonderful day, and thank you again for reading.
