You asked here it is they look even better on the carpet but the rain is already ruining it
So I finally got around to upgrading my interior setup like everyone here suggests, but it’s been pouring in the Pacific Northwest all week and my passenger side is already a total puddle.
The main problem is the dead pedal area. The water just runs straight off my boots, hits the top edge of the liner, and leaks underneath onto the actual factory carpet. Now I have a damp spot under the mat that’s probably going to start smelling like mildew if I don't dry it out this weekend.
I’m looking at options from WeatherTech, Husky, 3W, and TuxMat to replace these, but I'm stuck. Does edge height or long-term wear matter more when you live in a constant rainy climate? I just want something that actually channels the water away instead of letting it pool right under my heels.
