Metcon 10/12
I’m being forced to go to afternoon camps next week since my husband is traveling and I need to know what I’m getting myself into. As a 5:15 AM’er, PM cardio is my nemesis 😂

I’ve been going to Burn for over 2 years and I typically go 5-6 days/week.
I consider myself to be relatively advanced in terms of lifting and I can keep up with the conditioning days but it’s definitely not my strong point.
Despite all of this, my calves always get really sore after days with a lot of jumping and now I am having some Achilles pain. I also get a lot of cramping in my feet during cardio. All of my reading tells me this is related to weak calves.
I have changed shoes with no difference. I hydrate well and have tried stretching, using a lacrosse ball, etc.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and if so, how did you improve it?
Our gym is doing a preorder and I want to get the regular (not crop) crewneck sweater.
Has anyone ordered this style before that can speak to sizing? For reference I normally wear a small in Burn shirts but outside of the gym I typically buy a medium for sweatshirts. I’m confused what size to buy since this is unisex and not sure if it comes a little oversized?
Appreciate any insight!
I feel like this is past the west end but not quite Short Pump. What would you call this area?
I just wanted to put it out there that today’s workout was awesome and I hope they do more like it. It was simple, no crazy complex exercises, but really effective.
Matt Morris, I hope you see this.
That is all 🤣
I am very new to the wavy routine, I have always heat styled my hair and am trying to get away from that.
Today, I detangled in the shower, while wet, put in a little bit of curl cream and scrunched. Plopped in a T-shirt for about 20 mins then lightly dried (put a sock over the blow dryer since I don’t have a diffuser).
I’m ok with the beachy wave look but how can I make my waves less stringy looking/more consistent?
Our gym just got sandbags which we used today. I typically do walking lunges with 25-30 lb dumbbells (per hand) so I grabbed the 50lb sandbag. The weight was fine but it was difficult to keep it in place on the top of my neck/traps. Loading is also kind of a pain.
Any suggestions to help with keeping it in place? I like the not having to hold weights aspect but the sandbags are not as great as I had hoped.
I am a longtime lurker of this subreddit and realized that I may after all have slightly wavy hair. The underneath of my hair always gets a few ringlets when I air dry it but the top is straight and frizzy.
Today, I did a finger comb out in the shower, put some mousse in and did a plop in a shirt and this is what I got.
Not great, but I feel like there is potential. Looking for advice on product or a routine that is not overly involved.
Many thanks.
As the title says.. I am having a plantar fasciitis flare for the first time in over 10 years. Started the day after Acon last week.
I took today off to continue to rest but I don’t really feel much difference. I’m doing stretches and wearing the right shoes, etc.
Has anyone who deals/dealt with this and continued going to conditioning camps? If so, did you just mod?
I made the mistake of pushing through a shoulder injury last year and ended up in PT for 6 months so trying to be better about listening to my body 😇
I recently upgraded my ring to this round brilliant (center stone 2.5 carat, total of 3 carats). My wedding band seems thin now and I’m not sure if it looks out of proportion?
