But really, how many of you have been through this in RoxYunk before, either as residents or attendees?
What advice can you give bike race newbs?
BridgeHonk is a large d hoc jazz band lead by Gabe Preston (sax) and Dan Spearman (trumpet). As many horn players, any instrument, any level is welcome. Last year, we had 20 players.
We play a list of standards, everyone who wants gets a chance to solo.
The show is 6:30 pm, August 4 at the Manayunk Bridge Garden.

The Bike Race is Back! August 30th running right through the heart of RoxYunk.
The organizers really want to engage with folks here to make it amazing, turn up the joy, address concerns, partner with the neighborhood.

I seem to have be struck with full time employment again which starts tomorrow and I'm kind of freaking out so any advice isn't amiss. It's the first time i'll be back in an office in 3 years. What if i can't hack it? It's remote mostly but dang, not at all sure.
I've seen trainings offered (haven't signed up), called city and local police to see if we had one (they insisted they weren 't allowed to tell me), asked around but haven't found anyone in my circle who has participated.
Does anyone have any insight into what the program does? and is it useful?
