So I am working on building a NAS and i found a good deal on a older mobo,cpu,ram combo on ebay. I was wondering if the CORSAIR RM850e is compatible with Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H GSM Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard? I was checking Pc part picker and the PSU Doesn't show up when i have this motherboard selected could someone let me know if they are, how i could tell, if if it isnt a good PSU that would be compatible
So I Started Messing Around With NixOs and im wondering if im doing any of this correctly 😭. Are there better ways of splitting the configuration file? i have been trying to learn about flakes and they seem to be the go to but i still cant quite wrap my head around them. If you got any beginner tips or suggestions on how to improve this that would be greatly appreciated.
So ive been running an old dell optiplex with Proxmox for a couple months now but i have been wanting to turn it into a NAS to be able to run apps consistently for my family like jellyfin,immich,vaultwarden, etc. My 4 TB Hard drive can only hold so much and it has no redundancy so I'm wondering if this build would be good for a NAS
CPU: i5-6500 (It was in the optiplex and i thought i should just reuse it but there arent a lot of mobo choices so should i just buy a new one and leave this in the optiplex?)
MOBO: Asus Micro ATX DDR4 LGA 1151 Motherboard H110M-C/CSM (The reason I kinda wanna buy a new cpu because this doesnt even have a Hdmi port 😭 )
RAM: I have some sticks lying around would 8gb work well?
Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 13 M 1000W (Has 6 Sata power connector slots)
HBA: LSI 9207-8i (where should i get the connectors from?)
Storage: 6 6TB SAS Drives Mixed Brand (I haven't bought these yet but it seems like a pretty good deal on ebay $315 For A LOT of 10? idk lmk)

Somehow this solder pad got ripped i think? i dont know how to connect these back how they were before, the arm of the JV component looks to be ripped off as well. This is a Toshiba e310 Pocket Pc I cant find any pictures of of the pcb was before
image quality isnt super great because ts is super small but does that look like a ripped solder pad? and what could i do to fix it if it is?
The battery has the same specs as the one i got the other board from
Im wanting to get this old pocket pc working but the battery is completely dead. Can i just swap the management board onto another battery that has the same specs? I haven't done much with batteries before and i don't wanna fry the thing cause its working fine other than the battery.
