It confuses me.

That's my rant.

I really like the new camera, especially:

- screen still flips

- better image // full-frame

- lightest / more compact body among the Rs

Except:

- The battery last less... so i have to carry not only a second battery but also the charger. Which makes "light" less "light". Any tip to extend battery time?

- And the ring. I knew when i bought it - thinking that I can still use my lenses. But when I put a pancake 24mm on top of a ring, it lost the "lighter", "more compact" and a bit of the full-frame benefits I was looking fore. For bigger lenses well it is fine, but I feel that at least I have to buy a new pancake lense (the 28mm).

Very good advices! Indeed I was using efs 24mm pancake lens and it didn’t use the purpose of R8!

And powerbank charge the battery is really clever, as I always carry a powerbank for the phone.
