seniors please give me a reality check , is mech at Tier 1 colleges worth leaving the ece seat ive gotten at nit kurukshetra ?

I got ece at nit kurukshetra and it's pretty much impossible for me to get ece at any higher nit becuz kurukshetra mein bhi I got seat only cuz of HS quota.

im not particular abt getting ece only so i filled mechanical of top 4 nits ( trichy, karnataka, warangal, rourkela) above ece at nit kurukshetra. josaa mein upgradation impossible 🙏. csab mein it's borderline but now im second guessing should i fill mechanical at T1 NITs above NIT kurukshetra's ece or would i be dumb AF???

Im equally interested in mechanical and ece so far by whatever I've researched on my own+ want to aim for govt jobs later on.

seniors help me out please, is it dumb AF to choose mechanical at T1 nits or it doesn't matter that much cuz im not vvvvv particular ( keep future job prospects and college life in mind plsss) 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

im vv confused which laptop to get for ece course considering ive been using my old HP laptop for years and never rlly looked into what specs of a laptop meant. im not into gaming but so far people have recommended me to buy gaming laptops like loq , victus , nitro etc?

what does intel / ryzen /rtx / AMD and blah blah mean????? genuinely no clue 🥰🥰🥰. how am i supposed to choose the right laptop so it doesn't give up on me mid course????

Is it like open rule or something that oh full shirts and full jeans all the time??? Ik inside hostel y'all wear anything but like on campus/during class/ fests? are you not allowed to wear wtv u want???? I personally CANNOT live like that bro if I don't get to wear the clothes I want. I'm most probably joining this year and idk man i wouldn't be able to wear my entire wardrobe??

Also is there anything to do around the college?? Ik 0 city life but still do u guys have some good hangout spots/ crowd or is it nothing at all

I'm getting ECE at Nitkkr , DTU and NSUT . Should I take NIT because of the tag or DTU ya phir NSUT cuz city-> better college life-> more exposure, interships etc.

Especially like 3 and 4th year seniors do u think your ece degree would've been better and more useful if u chose DTU / NSUT over NITkkr 😭🙏

😍 I only took pcm cuz I liked physics and yea I'm willing to put in like all crazy extra hard work whatever branch requires ( I've heard EE is the hardest????)

Only things that matter to me are college life and oppertunities placements etc. NIT kurukshetra ka I have HS quota but I've heard that campus is hell set loose on girls like they're vv strict and inki jitni restrictions ke bare mein ive heard itni toh meri ghar pe bhi nai hai so like i genuinely don't wanna live a miserable life just for NIT ka tag , especially cuz Ive heard their placement stats are inflated??? Don't know how true or false this is tbh.

Also EE mein electrical engineer ki koi placement leta hai ki nai leta hai??? I've only heard ppl sitting for tech placements with cs ke students??? Is EE not like worthy on its own ? If EE is so hard how do ppl manage to do coding side by side to get on par with CSE students while placements?

ONE LASTTT THINGGG!! is DTU actually tier 1 like eveyone claims or its like Delhi ka PEC ??? Chandigarh mein sabko PEC tier 1 hi lagta so like is DTU like that only or its actually tier 1 and worth joining above NITs??
