Theories I've had about Yuu and Grim

I’ve held two theories about Yuu and Grim for a while now, and I’d love to hear what you think.

Yuu and Grim are both "Twisted" versions of the Brothers Grimm:

I’ve seen many people theorize that Grim’s name is a tribute to the Grimm, the men responsible for compiling the most famous fairy tales.

One day, I wondered: what if it isn't just Grim? Could Yuu be one, too? Yuu and Grim have always been presented as a single unit and share a remarkably brotherly bond.

I did some research on the Brothers Grimm and was struck by how close they were; they shared everything and didn't even separate when one of them got married. Their relationship was often described as symbiotic, or even codependent.

It is said that their bond was so deep that when one brother died, the other gave a funeral speech expressing how empty he felt without his other half. Interestingly, one brother was described as notably more extroverted, while the other was seen as more reserved.

Yuu and Grim’s Overblots will be based on Fantasia:

I’ve often heard theories suggesting that Yuu will experience an Overblot alongside Grim. I support this idea, especially considering that Book 7.5 mentioned the possibility of magic being forcibly introduced into an individual.

I’ve seen many people suggest that Grim’s Overblot will be based on Chernabog; this gave me the idea that while Grim takes on the role of Chernabog, Yuu would play the part of Mickey from The Sorcerer's Apprentice.

My theory is based on the fact that The Sorcerer's Apprentice and Night on Bald Mountain are the two most famous segments of Fantasia, and that Yuu’s musical abilities are mentioned on several occasions.

In The Sorcerer's Apprentice, Mickey begins moving his fingers to the beat of the music as he drifts off to sleep, inadvertently causing chaos in Yen Sid’s house.

I can picture the NRC students describing Yuu’s appearance, noting how their ceremonial robes shift to red and how the Overblot ink forms shapes resembling mouse ears on their head, all while Yuu remains asleep, moving their fingers as if following a rhythm.

Which Twisted versions do you think will be the rest of the top 5 most powerful mages?

These are all the characters whose "Twisted" versions I am sure will be part of the top.

Twisted Yen Sid: He is Disney's self-insert; obviously, his presence is guaranteed. He is usually placed in a position of great power, like in *Kingdom Hearts* or Epic Mickey, I’d go so far as to say he’s the top 1.

Twisted Fairy Godmother: She is one of the most important figures in fairy tales, and I believe we even had a hint of her existence in Book 8.

Twisted Rafiki: Surprisingly, we haven't had an appearance by a Twisted Rafiki, which is odd, considering we've already covered The Lion King on three occasions.

Twisted Triton: Part of me thinks we’ll have representatives from the various races that exist in Twisted Wonderland, he could represent the merfolk.

Twisted Zeus: Zeus is one of the Disney characters with the most raw power, not to mention that he hasn't been mentioned very much.

Malleus's rival from RSA: given that NRC and RSA share the same level of prestige, I see no reason why Malleus's rival wouldn't be on the same level.

Twisted Chernabog: He is easily one of the most imposing villains in all of Disney, just for that reason, he has a chance.

Twisted King of Evil: In my opinion, he has the least chance of appearing, given that his movie doesn't stand out even among the "Dark Age" films, but who knows? Yana might just surprise us.

Edit: I forgot about Twisted Mama Odie and Twisted Blue Fairy, I think they might appear too as possible Top 5.

I don't understand people who think we won't see the Chimera Overblot in Book 8.

I know the book is currently focusing on the tournament and the Princess Glow, but the previous arc initially seemed like it would focus solely on Diasomnia, however, in the end, everyone had a chance to shine.

I really think this book will focus on Yuu and Grim, not only because the previous arc ended with the mystery surrounding Mickey, but also because the first-year gang seems poised to play a major role

I think Grim could be the Twisted version of Pete, I don't know why a lot of people don't talk much about that possibility.

Something that surprised me is that Grim is more closely linked to Chernabog than to Pete, the Disney's oldest villain.

I’ve heard people speculate that Yuu is the Twisted version of Mickey, but I haven't seen anyone link Grim to Pete, which is odd considering they are both cats.

An interesting fact I came across is that Pete’s first appearance was in the Alice Comedies series of shorts, an adaptation of Alice in Wonderland.

After seeing how the "Lost in the Book" events work, I am convinced that these movies could have a "Lost in the Book" event.

All the movies adapted for a "Lost in the Book" event have shared two things in common: a world incompatible with Twisted Wonderland and a highly marketable central character.

Winnie the Pooh: It already takes place inside a book, and Pooh and the others are already adorable, marketable characters. I’d also love to see Idia interact with Eeyore and realize there’s someone even more depressing.

Treasure Planet: This is the film I have the most doubts about, mainly because it isn't as popular as other titles, but since "The Great Mouse Detective" was adapted despite belonging to the Dark Age, I am certain we will see this movie turned into an event. I think Murph and the robot could be the characters who anchor this event.

Wreck-It Ralph: Idia's Dream Come True

Zootopia: I think the only issue with this event would be the character models; aside from that, I'm sure we'll get this event sooner or later.

Frozen: This movie will inevitably be adapted, though I’m not sure if it will be for this type of event, given that it isn't incompatible with the world of Twisted Wonderland. The only thing that makes me hesitate is the mere existence of Olaf; he is simply one of Disney's most marketable characters.

Honorable Mention: Pixar. The vast majority of Pixar films fit the bill; several feature worlds incompatible with Twisted Wonderland and highly marketable characters. The only downside I see is that they are Pixar movies.

I don't even know what to think about Memo Aponte's cosplays.

The effort put into the cosplays is undeniable, but it’s hard to ignore how disgusting and grotesque the YouTube videos are.

You also can't ignore how bizarre and repulsive Memo Aponte's fetishes are, and the man himself.

Even I don't have the stomach to see what kind of content he uploads to OnlyFans.

Memo Aponte's Cosplays

I don't know what to think about Memo Aponte's cosplays; I don't know whether to be horrified or... horrified. Memo Aponte undoubtedly has a talent for creating nightmare fuel.

Dejando de lado lo que todos opinamos de Mushoku, alguien me puede decir porque Rudeus sigue teniendo voz de pito aunque ya se ve asi?

What do you think the story of the new event will be, and what do you think will happen?

Seeing that Baymax appears directly, it all seems to indicate that it's a Lost in the Book, like what happened with Stitch and Nightmare Before Christmas.

Will only Baymax appear, or will Hiro and his friends also be there? I really want to see Wasabi or Fred interacting with the NRC students.

There's also something else that I find interesting, the world of Big Hero 6 is a world without magic. Will Yuu and the NRC initially think they've entered Yuu's world?

Which movie are you most hoping will be adapted into an event, and which character would you like it to focus on?

Wreck-It Ralph: Obviously Idia

Emperor's New Groove: I'd like Kalim or Riddle to be the characters the event focuses on, Kalim for his personality and Riddle for his authoritarianism.

Honorable Mention: Coco: As a Mexican, I'd love to see how the Dia de muertos aesthetic is adapted to the characters of Twisted Wonderland. Unfortunately, Coco is a Pixar film, and the Halloween celebration in Twisted Wonderland is already quite similar to Dia de muertos.

Dato curioso: Canonicamente en Disney, los descendientes de Hades fueron los que crearon la mitologia griega a punta de chismes para hacer quedar mal a todos los dioses menos a Hades

Am I the only one who finds it surprising that Dooshik from Pearl Boy is completely gay? Considering how BL manhwas are like

In manhwas, the Top with this type of appearance are usually made bisexual so that the female reader can self-insert in the Bottom.

I think he's the only Top with the promiscuous man archetype who is gay; all the Top with this archetype that I can remember are bi.

I'm surprised that even though it's one of the Top with the most female fans, they haven't included a past with women. He's one of the few who's been seen feeling disgust when a woman gets too close.

I don't care what people say, I love Ciao (World Cup 1990)

I don't understand people who don't like the design. It's very different and unique compared to the other World Cup mascots, and in a way, I see it as the Mr. Game & Watch of World Cup mascots.

I've recently noticed that there aren't many manhwas where both protagonists are gay; there are some, but the vast majority feature gay/bisexual or bisexual/bisexual couples.
