First DWC run with Murder Biscuits.

Just moved from a 2-gallon reservoir to 3 gallons and the roots are finally reaching down into the nutrient solution. Running GH Flora Series, Hydroguard, Rapid Start, and Diamond Nectar.

Current stats:
• pH: 5.6
• PPM: 678
• Water temp: 75.5°F
• Light: ~20-21” above canopy
• Early veg

The timelapse growth over the last few days has been wild compared to when she was relying mostly on top feed. Roots are bright white and starting to branch out.

Question for the DWC veterans:
At what point would you top her? I’m thinking around the 5th-6th node and possibly taking the top as a clone.

Would love any feedback or things you’d be watching for at this stage. 😈🌱

First roots hit the reservoir this week and she’s starting to wake up. Running Flora Series at 440 ppm, pH 6.2-6.3, and 70°F water temps.

Growth has been steady, roots are bright white, and every new node is coming in bigger than the last. Trying hard not to overmanage her and just letting her do her thing.

Anyone else running Murder Biscuits right now? I’d love to see how yours turned out. 🍪🌱

Popped June 5th. Running GH Flora Series, Hydroguard, Rapid Start, Diamond Nectar, and Cal-Mag in DWC. Just started seeing roots emerge from the net pot and growth has really accelerated over the last few days. Looking forward to seeing what this Dirty Bird Genetics girl does next.

These photos were taken roughly 12 hours apart.

Same feed, same environment, no changes besides letting her do her thing. New growth is already pushing, leaves are getting wider, and the roots are continuing to develop below the net pot.

One of the reasons I keep coming back to DWC. Once the roots get established, growth can be crazy fast.

Started this Murder Biscuits seed on June 5th and put together a quick timelapse through today (June 16th).

Single-bucket DWC running GH nutrients. Roots are showing below the net pot, new growth is stacking, and she’s settling into Feed #2 nicely.

Just a little update on my Murder Biscuits run.

She’s officially settled into Feed #2 and starting to take off. Roots are now showing below the net pot, the third node is established, and the fourth node is pushing hard. Running a simple DWC bucket with GH nutrients and keeping things as straightforward as possible.

Current numbers:
• pH: 6.3
• PPM: 410
• Water Temp: 68°F

So far she’s been an easy one to grow. Really liking the structure and vigor this early on. Looking forward to seeing what this girl does once the roots hit the reservoir in force.

Murder Biscuits update.

Just completed Feed #2 in my 5-gallon DWC bucket. Running about 2 gallons of solution with a top-drip ring while the roots establish.

Current stats:
• pH: 5.7
• PPM: 393
• Temp: 71.2°F
• Cal-Mag
• Flora Series
• Rapid Start
• Diamond Nectar

Big milestone today: first roots are now hanging below the net pot and the third node is developing. This is my first run with Rapid Start and Diamond Nectar, so I’m excited to see what kind of root growth they produce over the next week.

How does she look for this stage? Would you keep the feed around 400 PPM or start pushing it a little harder now that roots have found the reservoir?

Always open to learning from more experienced DWC growers. 🌱

Finally got my Murder Biscuits seedling established and settled into DWC.

Running a single-bucket top-feed setup with hydroton and keeping detailed notes on pH, PPM, water temps, humidity, and lighting from day one.

Had a little stretch early on while dialing everything in, but she’s starting to stack out her first true leaves now.

Looking forward to documenting this one from seed to harvest and seeing what Dirty Bird Genetics put into these beans.

Any Murder Biscuits growers in here? I’d love to see finished plants, flower shots, or hear what to expect as she gets rolling.

From paper towel to hydroton to first green.

The helmet finally popped off, cotyledons are opening, and she’s officially above ground. Running DWC at ~330 ppm, pH 6.1, water temps in the upper 60s, and 65% humidity.

Trying my hardest to leave her alone and let her grow. 😅

Next stop: first true leaves. 🚀🌱
