EQ Bank refusing to give me boosted interest rate despite meeting direct deposit minimum.

My account has been bumped down to 1% interest despite direct depositing $5,703.45 in April, well over the $2,000 minimum. Contacting customer service just ran me around in circles repeating that I need $2,000 minimum, which I clearly do.

Will give them to June to fix before I just move to a different bank, but this is not an acceptable level of service..

Soundbar recommendations

I have been gifted a TV. It’s going in the basement. I cannot stand tv speakers, so I’m looking at a soundbar. It is a basement secondary tv, so if I can save some money and get a still serviceable sound system, I will.

My current main system is a Sonos beam + sub mini + ikea bookshelf rear speakers.

I almost bought the Sonos beam again after not having much luck finding decent soundbars, with the plan to maybe upgrade later, but then I found some other options I’m considering.

I have a relatively short list of retirements: serviceable sound, especially with dialogue (no turning it up a bunch to hear speaking to turn it back down), surround sound, and CEC control so it turns off with the tv and I can control volume on it via the TV. Wired connectivity is a plus (avoids 2.4Ghz interference from my wi-fi and zigbee network), but not fully required I don’t think.

Here are my options (pricing in my currency in my city):

Sonos Beam, no sub, no surround, $650

Hisense HS5100, $389.99

LG S60TR, $349.99 (I came across the S70TR as well, but that is $799.99 here. Not sure why it's so much more than the S60TR when it seems to be $100 difference in the US)

LG S55TR, $299.99

Is it possible to direct ship your products from the factory to Canada? Or have a warehouse up here?

I want to support you guys - and will be buying some switches from you for sure, but it’s hard when the prices are so high. Now, I know tariffs. I work in the supply chain too and working with our suppliers to get stuff to us without going through the US is NOT an easy process - one of our suppliers even charges us the tariff rate when shipped direct from the UK!

But, if you COULD get them to bypass the US, it would significantly reduce the tariffs and make it a lot easier to buy more of your products.

I don’t know if you have the demand up here to warrant it, but it would certainly be nice!

(Also, hopefully it settles down once the orange man is out of office)

Hello,

I am considering adding z-wave to my setup, I am purely zigbee now but want to build a z-wave mesh. For light switches, with smart light bulb mode, I have come across Zooz ($47 in my currency) and Inovelli ($97 in my currency).

For those that have both: Is the $50 premium worth it for Inovelli? Outside of the light strip, what am I gaining?

Has anyone else been unable to download a Rogers statement from online? I've tried 2 computers, 3 browsers, along with the app on my phone. Cannot get it downloaded, it just loads forever. Been trying regularly for the last 3 or so days.
