God I hope we get skins when Tokon comes out
These are my main 4, but honestly most of the designs are phenomenal I wouldn’t mind getting
Opinions on Blue Bolt (Jupiter’s Legacy)
I love Jupiter’s legacy (not the show, the comics) and it’s a unique superhero story, and Blue Bolt is kinda the flagship gay hero.
Basically, to those unaware, 6 people get superpowers in 1929. Blue Bolt has the standard Superman package (flight, strength, durability) but also a powerful wand that can teleport himself anywhere, or anything else anywhere.
He’s specifically a big part in Jupiter’s circle (the prequel) that takes place in the 40s, 50s, and 60s. And how he juggles being a closeted gay man, with being a paragon of humanity, and also his normal secret identity. Where he resorts to one night stands and casual flings to be truly himself, unable to come out due to sodomy laws still in place, and being a superhero that the entire world looks up to he worries about his friends reaction to his queerness. Even gets blackmailed by J Edgar Hoover into almost spilling the secret identities of the team in exchange to not get outed
Overall opinions on Toyman 3 (Hiro)?
I personally like him and think it’s an interesting idea to have a heroic Toyman. Plus the anime feel to his inventions make him stick out more to me (as a fan of mecha anime)
What if this was the venom we got?
Venom has gotta be one of the most requested characters, and now with Carnage coming, I was curious about what people thought about getting Agent Venom instead of normal Eddie venom
I think it’d be sick, agent venom gives us more of a moveset to work with to differentiate venom from carnage and spidey.
A cool dlc team: The Summer’s family
I’m disappointed we probably won’t get cyclops or Jean as base roster so I started thinking of how they could come in, and I thought of this. And I love the idea
Scott, Jean, and cable are sillier since we can use their Marvel vs Capcom movesets and tweak them to fit Tokon
But Hope is the wildcard since, to anyone who doesn’t know, she doesn’t have powers specifically as her power is “power manipulation”. Typically using it to either copy or enhance the powers of those around her so I think she could be support type where she can buff and debuff allies and enemies. And then taking notes from Seth from street fighter of her copying powers
I could also see changing the roster to have people like Havok, Vulcan, Rachel Summers, maybe Madelyn Pryor or Corsair if we want beyond the traditional summers fam. I’d say that really only Cyclops and Jean are the must-be’s. I just think Cable and Hope would have the most fun movesets and having technically 3 gens of summers would be fun
[Discussion] How come The Atom isn’t more popular?
Exactly what it says on the tin. I love Atom, both Ray and Ryan. However looking at both in comics and outside media, he doesn’t appear a lot despite the untapped potential of him. He has a couple of REALLY good runs (like Sword of the Atom or All new Atom) but nothing else really, which is super disappointing for me personally. Although I haven’t read every team book he’s been in (if you have any recs I’d love them)
Even in outside media he shows up more as a cameo (and almost always to parody Fantastic Voyage) for at most an episode or two. I’m not saying we need a full on atom tv show (although I ain’t opposed) but just have him appear more.
But I’m more curious as to your opinions on the smallest superhero. And what you think he’s lacking to truly equal Ant-Man in terms of popularity. Is it just a lacking character, lame powers, no niche, or simply DC never gave him much of a shot and he needs more exposure (like a movie or tv show)

Monoma is my favorite character in my entire franchise, AMA
How do we feel about Flash’s suit having more of an armored look?
I personally like it, I love Ezra’s suit in JL although the injustice suit I’m so-so on. Kinda cool to have the idea that he needs armor to handle the high speeds/g-forces of running. But I also get the spandex are classic
Thoughts?
Rewatching creature commandos, doesn’t this mean we won’t get more suicide squad stuff?
In ep1 of creature commandos, Waller said “Congress said Argus can’t use incarcerated human beings as mission ops”. So doesn’t that mean we won’t get any actual Suicide squad content in the future or at least for a while?
[Funny Trope] They have the worst codenames
Characters who’s codenames or alias’ is just their name (or very minor alterations to it)
Captain Atom - Nathan Adams was a Captain in the Air Force…so his official name would be Captain Adam
Shoto - Shoto Todoroki. In my hero academia his hero name is Shoto, which is just his given name
Captain Marvel - his real name is Mar Vel.
Jubilee - an X-man who’s real name is Jubilation Lee
Dr. Doom - his real name is Dr. Victor Von Doom. Dr. Doom is just his name
Dr. Strange - same thing as Doom. His name is Stephen Strange and he is a doctor
Professor X - name is Charles Xavier and he does hold a Ph.D in many versions, or has taught at university. So he is a professor
Maybe hot take? But I really don’t like Will Smith as Deadshot
Sure, the writing definitely didn’t him any favors but I just feel like he’s not the right call for Floyd. Idk why Will Smith refuses to accept that he’s a comedic actor and not an action or any kind of serious role for him. Sure Suicide Squad is far from serious, but Deadshot isn’t a very comedic character and tends to be more stoic and serious in most scenes. Often acting as the straight man for the squad’s more chaotic characters. At least that’s how I’ve seen him.
But I doubt we’ll get more Deadshot anyways (with him or someone else in the role) as he’s been pretty much replaced in any suicide squad projects with either Bloodsport or Peacemaker.
Is there any meaningful difference between the Boruto/Adult versions of some characters versus their shippuden vers?
Hello, been a mostly casual player but wanted to get more into the game, and as I was looking at the roster I realized most of the Boruto-era characters are similar if not identical to their shippuden versions. So I’m curious if there’s any differences or if they’re just skins taking up roster slots
Thanks
Name: Hei Hyuga
Nickname: the Hawk of the Hyuga
Rank: Special Jonin
Backstory: born to the branch family (around Itachi’s time) with mediocre chakra control and lacking taijutsu skills he was ready for a life of service to the main branch. But then he picked up a bow. Combining archery with the Byukugan he’s the best shot in Konoha, able to hit a target 50 meters away without issue, or even fire an arrow through someone’s tenketsu point. Danzo, noticing the Shinobi’s skills wanted him in the root, making Hiyashi a solid deal for the boy. But Hiyashi (maybe out of genuine compassion or too prideful to allow a Hyuga to be a Root operative) denied it and threatened to exposed the root if he ever tired to recruit the Hyuga again. This was a moment when Hei became incredibly loyal to Hiyashi, believing he saved him from a life of obedience, secrecy, and blood.
Abilities: has an affinity for wind release and can do basic fire and lightning release. Utilizing wind release to guide and manipulate his arrows mid-flight, or increase their piercing power (like Asuma’s chakra blades). While his Taijutsu is mediocre at best he’s trained in the gentle fist and can quickly disable an opponent if they get too close to get range for his archery. He also has mediocre chakra control for a Hyuga and is only able to do fairly basic jutsu or gentle fist techniques. But his Byakugan is honed to precision, able to see perfectly up to a 1km around him and 25 focused in a single direction.
Equipment: a bow he can infuses with his chakra to increase the potency of his arrows. His arrow heads are engraved with seals for various nature releases imbued within them (to make up for his lacking chakra control). His arrows are also specifically notched with owl feathers so they fly silently through the air.
Personality: a straight shooter, blunt and lacking tact in conversation. He speaks his mind when asked and will call out stupidity or flaws if he notices them (although not out of malice). He tends to be stoic and reserved, he doesn’t dislike people but he’s just more of a “speaks when spoken to” kind of guy. That plus he’s used to missions of him on his own. Although he does enjoy origami (he says it’s just to keep his mind and hands sharp, but he genuinely enjoys the art form). Also a bit of a nerd when it comes to plants and botany, he has a special garden outside the Hyuga compound only he tends to.
Yes, I know the picture is Kamo from JJK. I can’t draw for shit and am broke so I couldn’t get a commission, just imagine Kamo as a Hyuga (so I guess credit to Gege Akutami for the art?)
Johnny Cage
Kenshi
Kano
Ermac
Kitana
Jax
There are just my personal favorites, but most of the kast’s designs in this game are amazing. I especially love the older vibe for a lot of the Klassic kharacters
Personal favorite is Johnny Cage. His arc in the NRS era is amazing, and X was the real culmination of it. He’s matured but still 100% Johnny and the outfit fits that. Now more military and him covering the tattoo, some grey in the hair, etc. such a good design for him and the writing matches
