I’ve been told I’m exceptional with languages, but I know I’ve lost potential. I keep switching through different languages and end up knowing none except the basics. I have tried learning more than 8 different languages throughout my life. If I had stuck to one or two all these years, I’d be at an advanced level by now. The thing is I just can’t seem to concentrate on one language for more than 2 weeks. Any advice from anyone who’ve managed to actually learn a language, while having ADHD?
Hello. I've been on Prozac (Fluoxetine) for 9 days now, as I was diagnosed with OCD. Is it normal that, since day 6, I've started obsessively wondering about time passing too quickly, feeling like it passes in an instant? I keep remembering what I was doing a month ago and thinking that time has already flown by. I also envision myself in the future, almost as if I'm not living in the present anymore. These thoughts come intrusively. I can't control them and they make me very anxious. Is there a chance this is a side effect of the medication?
