Hello, me and my friend are hoping to buy tickets for the Ateneo vs Benilde game (I study at UST and he studies at Benidle) and we are both SHS students, so we are wondering if it'll be hard to buy one especially since the tickets are bought physically in the arena itself?

Rank Their Rookie Seasons

Among these three, rank their rookie seasons from worst to best. And who would have won the Rookie of The Year award if they all were rookies at the same time?

Affordable Boxing Gyms Near UST?

I'm currently a SHS student for UST Manila and I have been dreaming of going to a boxing gym to learn. And I am wondering if there is such near UST that is:

1.) Affordable for a student.

2.) Near the main campus.

3.) Accepts students.

4.) Beginner Friendly.

The Problem With Gilas

With the final score of 106-102 in favor of New Zealand, I think its time to admit that the problem is not the players, its the system. And this is going to be a rant about it:

It is so frustrating watching the game, and I am not even someone who has been a PBA fan for a while. Pero kahit ako pansin na pansin ang over reliance sa PBA "stars" natin.

So many dumb mistakes:

- Newsome and RJ during OT?

- 3 points Brownlee and 5'11 defensive liability RJ over Juan and Tamayo, two players who helped us stay in the game?

- Small ball against the biggest asian team aside from Australia? You have the 6'9 Baltazar on the bench why play the older Fajardo and smaller Troy over him?

- Hero ball despite being up?

We cant keep saying "ipasok si Player A, ilabas si Player B" or "Sayang wala si Blank" because that is not the root of the problem. The root of the problem is the stubborness to continue playing PBA ball and not international ball.

You look at successful national teams, you'll notice one thing. Hindi sila umaasa sa isang grupo ng players. Gamitin natin ang number 1 sa ranking which is the USA.

During their Paris Olympics run, there were 3 players leading the team. Lebron, Curry, and KD.

That is the problem with Gilas. They have adapted the PBA mindset of "Import = Superhero" which wont be possible in international stages. With Clarkson and Blatche it worked because of 3 things. 1.) We were up against smaller teams during the early 2010s as New Zealand and Australia havent entered Asia ball yet. 2.) The ball rotated with players like Alapag, Castro, Dwight, RDO, Chan and not just JC and Blatche. 3rd.) And most importantly, they were NBA LEVEL.

Stop stubbornly relying on players. - KQ, Juan, Tamayo, etc made the national team because THEY ARE NATIONAL LEVEL not just because they fit well with Brownlee. The era of basketball is not the same as during the 90s where zone defense was illegal and post games were the meta, we need to ADJUST. If familiarity ang punong dulo ng katigasan niyo, edi please GINEBRA nalang ang ilaro niyo hindi yung mga nasa Korea at Japan dahil nasasayang talaga sila.

I believe this is the Golden Age of Philippine basketball, please dont waste it.

Is The Officiating Really This Loopsided?

I am fairly a new PBA fan, as I only kept up with the UAAP for most of the years. But just last year, I became more interested with the PBA. But watching this finals, I can't help but wonder if the officiating is really this favored towards Ginebra?

From what I see kasi, they can play physical for the most part: pushing during box outs, relatively hard screens, and very tight interior defense. But when it comes to them, one wrong move and the refs are calling it.

I am not a Ginebra hater, I am merely a new PBA fan. So I am really interested in learning if this is a common occurance or if I am just being too harsh on the referees.

How To Make It So Not Everyone Will Enter the Draft?

Is there a way to make it so not everyone will enter the draft in your first year of my custom league? I don't like how everyone, from a Freshman to a Senior will just join the draft, leaving my college league with a lot of gaps next year? And this is made worst because my league only has 12 teams, so some of them despite being talented go undrafted... Is there a way to fix this?

What Are Some Things You Hate

What are some things you hate or dislike about this game? For me, I hate the team chemistry system. Like what do you mean you wont pass to the most decorated college athlete ever? And don't even get me started on why you have to earn minutes as a 1st round pick. I also hate how braindead the teammate cpu can be, they have this tendency where when you try to post up or slash, they'll just run towards you and bring their man to you so you'll just get stuffed... How about you?

I really love this game, but I really believe that the balance between offense and defense in this game is severely loopsided. So here are some things that I think would be amazing for a future defense-centric update:

- Defensive Sets = Similar to how you can run offensive sets, it would be fun to allow us to run defensive sets as well. Be it zone, full court press, half court press, or more.

- Defensive Assignments = It would be neat if we were allowed to pick designated players to guard other players no matter the position. Like let my defensive SF guard Polan Stronk please...

- Defensive Attributes = How nice would it be to have an attribute specifically for Perimeter and Interior Defense. This could affect their lateral speed, contest strength, and ability to stay up front.

- Switching and Double Teaming = Lastly, allowing the CPU and the player to switch and double team would really stop offensive monsters and balance things out.

What do you guys think?
