Ryanair cabin bag 1cm over - how strict are they at Manchester/Beauvais?
I’m flying to Paris tomorrow with Ryanair from Manchester Airport to Paris Beauvais, and I’m a bit worried about my cabin suitcase. I have the Tripp Retro Black Cabin Suitcase, which is 55 × 37 × 21cm. Ryanair’s Priority cabin bag allowance is 55 × 40 × 20cm, so mine is technically 1cm over on the depth. It’s a hard-shell case, so obviously I can’t really squash it down that extra 1cm.
For anyone who has flown Ryanair recently:
How strict are they about a suitcase being 1cm over?
Do they actually measure/check every Priority cabin bag, or only some?
What are Manchester Airport and Paris Beauvais like specifically?
Is it likely they’d make me put it in the sizer/check it into the hold, or am I overthinking the 1cm?
I’ve never flown Ryanair before, so any recent experiences would be really appreciated!
