Enyaq coupe or not?

Think based on what I see here the Enyaq is commonly recommended as a solid EV for families, especially a good deal on a 2-3 year old used one.

Now the question is Enyaq or Enyaq coupe?

The boot space difference means little to us as they are both very spacious for our needs.

I like that the coupe by default has a panroof but dislike that it has no sun shade built in and the optional one is a manual one, which also looks quite cumbersome.

Any coupe owners with a small family can chip in on whether the uncovered pan roof has caused much issues with kids or in the summer when it gets too hot?

Any generally are there any known quirks or common issues with the coupe version that makes it less desirable?

Also Enyaq or Enyaq coupe which trim should I look for to get max tech/spec off the bat?

Thanks!

Used family SUV EV recommendations?

Hi, I’m looking for a used but reliable EV that isn’t known for big problems.

Ideally:

- big ish boot space
- 240+ miles range in avg UK conditions
- Sub 30K miles
- Budget up to £26,000
- Good to have: 2023+ vehicle.

We do about 900 miles a month and about 60% of that will be on motorways.

I know if I look towards Chinese brands like BYD and Geely, this would all be easily attainable but ideally I’m looking for recommendations across household UK car brands like VW, Volvo, Polestar, BMW, Kia, Skoda, etc.

What would be your recommendations?

Thanks!

Childcare eligibility - Day Job + Company Director

Hey,

Me and my partner each have made our adjusted net incomes less than 100K so typically we’d be eligible for the 30hrs free childcare but something crossed my mind recently that has put a spanner in the works. Any advice appreciated.

Situation as follows:

I have an LTD company additional to my day job where side hustle income goes into (had to set it up to keep ANI below 100K). The company will retain all profits inside the business. I don’t take any dividends, income, or pay myself anything in any form through the LTD company.

How does this impact childcare eligibility and how do I best explain this on the gov.uk application so we don’t get rejected automatically?

Has anyone recently gone through anything like this?

Thanks!!
