Top of the world Ma!
Up in the North Yorkshire Dales. A Scrambler's natural environment.
Street Triple to Scrambler 900
Well, I loved the Street Triple, but it was a speeding ticket waiting to happen (for me anyway).. changed tack and went for a 2015 Scrambler, and so far I'm loving it. I seem to have as much fun at 80 as I used to have at 110, and the sound.. omg. Comfort wise, it's way better (again, for me anyway), and it seems to turn way more heads than the striple.
I just paid over £50 for fish and chips for 4 people.
It was bloody good, but _ £50???
*Edit. I'm in Yorkshire, and an old git. Might explain a bit.
Well, I pulled the trigger.
Swapped the street triple for something more sensible for someone of my advanced age... Loving the Scrambler.
Considering a V7...
I'm currently riding a gen1 Street Triple, and it's great, but it encourages me to ride like a hooligan, and after 50 years on bikes, I think it's time to relax a little.. The Guzzis I've ridden before always seemed a little "agricultural", and I wondered if they now feel more modern, and if anyone else has made a similar move? I've got a 78 Bonneville in the garage, so I don't really need two bikes that need constant tinkering..
Thoroughly depressing view from a working men's club.
It's grim up north.
