Professional seller did not use correct shipping method

Hello everyone,

I recently made a €200 purchase from a professional French seller. Given the order value, it should have been shipped via an insured/tracked parcel service. However, not only did the seller send it uninsured, but he also failed to include my complete contact details (missing phone number and email).

To make matters worse, the seller was completely unresponsive when I asked which local courier company would handle the delivery in my country. I had to use third-party global tracking tools to figure it out and contact the local courier myself just to locate where my package was being held.

Finding and picking up the parcel was a massive hassle, and seeing that it wasn't shipped insured after all that was really frustrating.

Since the seller is a professional user and is currently ignoring my messages regarding compensation or a partial refund for the shipping oversight, what should I do next? Should I contact Cardmarket support directly?

Impossible to order anything +150€ from EU to non-choice sellers

It looks like there is a system bug with orders >150€

Do not order anything until the system is fixed!

Impossible to cancel return, how to proceed

Hi everyone,

I'm facing a frustrating loop with support and automated systems, and I could really use some advice on how to proceed.

The Situation:

I received an item with minor cosmetic damage. I wanted to keep it and just get a partial refund. Since the app only gave me the option for a full return/refund, I contacted customer support via chat. Then, the agent told me they would open a dispute on my behalf, and that I would be able to negotiate a partial refund later.

The Problem:

Because of my "Elite" account status, the system automatically triggered an "Instant Refund, Return Later" (Reembolso primero, devolución después) benefit (see Pic).

The platform has already issued a full refund of €21.53.

The status is now stuck on "Awaiting return" with a countdown timer. The system explicitly warns that if I don't ship the item back or fail the inspection, it will negatively affect my Elite benefits and account standing.

I don't want to return the item; I just wanted a small discount for the minor damage. There is absolutely no option in the app to cancel this return process or modify it to a partial refund.

When I contact support now, they just tell me they have "escalated the case" and I keep getting automated, non-helpful responses.

Has anyone successfully canceled an automatic "Elite" instant return like this through support?

Should I just bite the bullet, return the damaged item to protect my account standing, and buy a new one? Or is there a way to force support to override this?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

151 Chinese box

Please, I am not really familiar with this kind of 151 box

I bought it from Cardmarket and I am not sure about it's authenticity (wrap looks strange to me, especially upper area on the right)

Can someone with experience give me their opinion?

Hey!

Just wanted to ask if everyone is having issues with non-tracked orders from the Netherlands. While from every other country (Germany, Italy, France, or my own country (Spain) for example) everything is arriving without issues, I have 3 letters from the Netherlands that were sent close to 1 month ago.

Is there anything happening there?
